We stayed here 2 weekends ago while visiting our daughter who attends UVM. The proximity to campus is great, and it's an easy walk to the Saturday morning Farmers Market in downtown Burlington. We found the motel to be overpriced for what you get. I wrote an honest review on the Air B&B site and received a very nasty response...

We are truly sorry that you thought $300 for a weekend was overpriced for the busiest weekend of the year. We could have charged $300 per night and still had no vacancies, but we care about people. We had an advertised rate, and you agreed upon it, you did NOT have to stay. We offer free parking (which is hard...

My husband and I stayed overnight on 8/23. The young man who was at the desk was very nice and helpful, as this was our first time in the area. Our room was basic, with a shower stall, small fridge, flat screen, and air conditioner, but was extremely clean. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone who is not...

We wound up in Burlington on our Vermont trip. We had not planned on staying in Burlington, as we were passing through on our way south, but ran out of time and daylight. With no reservations already in place, we turned to Trip Advisor and steered for the Bel Aire Motel. The receptionist was very nice and very helpful, the...

We are sorry you did not fully enjoy your stay with us. We are happy that you were greeted so kindly, and our rates were to your liking. I would like to inform you that we are NOT listed on any online booking websites, as we only take bookings direct. As a small family run business, we choose not to...

I would love to be able to give this motel more than three stars, for all of the following reasons: It's a locally-owned business! We love to support those. Our room was very spacious, with two queen-sized beds and a queen-sized sofa bed. The sheets and towels were soft and smelled wonderfully fresh. The space was tidy, with charming touches...

My first visit to Burlington Vermont. At a bittersweet time in my life. The Bel-Aire met my needs. My room was secluded and beautifully quiet. A down to earth place just how I like it. A low rise building with a welcoming charm, friendly staff whom I met and talked to. Robin, Bill and Jesse. I loved the area. It...

What you are going to get here is primarily the basics...at an inflated rate. I weighed several options weeks before, near and in Burlington, fitting my needs and budget and this was the least expensive with the locale. Pros: Front desk clerk, no hassle check in, convenient parking, TV works fine. Quiet. Good bed. Cons: minimalist room. Garish floral wall...

I chose the Bel Aire because of its location near family I was visiting. The staff were pleasant, but the room was very bare-bones considering the cost. The Wi-Fi was useless in my room, which was very frustrating - would have had to go to the office to get on the Internet. There was water leaking around the vanity.

I paid 160+ tax per night for two nights. Never got a change of towels or anything for that matter. the bathroom smelled damp and musty upon arrival. There was mouse poop all over the floor of the shower. The only good thing was the ac worked well. For the money per night, I would have expected better accomadations.

We are very sorry that you did not love your stay with us, that is what we strive for. I am a little concerned however that maybe you reviewed the wrong property, because we rarely have rates that high. We are a green property and inform every guest during check in of that. If you require a change of towels,...

My partner and I spent one night in Burlington and stayed at the Bel Aire Motel, which had good reviews on TripAdvisor. It was great for what we needed: one quick night, nothing too fancy, not too expensive, clean, and accommodating. The owner was kind and helpful. I recommend this motel to any Burlington visitors.

Helpful owner, good advice if you're traveling by bicycle, 15-minute easy pleasant walk from downtown. Great choice if you don't want to spend too much on accomodations. We would choose that motel again without hesitation.
