We first came in to go to UVM orientation with our new college freshman. This ws in June. It was packed with RV's and a lot of people from Quebec... a lot, which is great. I have not seen so many campers in one place from Canada, (well maybe Avalon campground in NJ), outside of Canadian campgrounds. Having been car/tent...

Because location! Location, location, location. A 2 minute walk to the beach or bike trails, a 10 minute drive to Downtown and UVM. Bathrooms were clean when we were there. We didn't have to wait for showers either, even though it was a holiday weekend. That said, many of the sites are very small and your neighbors are really close....

My husband and I have traveled all over the United States in our VW Camper. To us, camping is being outdoors until we settle down at night for campfire and then in the van to sleep. If we have electric fine...but we are self-contained. We prefer NOT to be with "big rigs", or in name brand campgrounds, or in campgrounds...

This is a small campground perfectly positioned on Lake Champlain with easy beach access, amazing vistas and a woodsy feel. The spaces are close together but many have shade trees. We were looking for some seclusion so we kept to the rear where there are larger sites. The bathrooms were very clean, sites accommodated with a picnic table and campfire...

Great location, very clean, cozy....2minute walk to lake champlain. A big thank you to Pauleen, she was awesome! Amazing customer service. Would recommend this place. Bring your bikes, just next to a bike path. Visit the farmer's market on saturday's...really cool. Honestly, best campgrounds I've been to.

If you are planning on sleeping don't camp here. Clueless employees with no sense of courtesy ride around in a loud golf cart, all hours of the night, lights on full, laughing and talking at normal volume. They woke us up four times, the last being at 3:30 am. We tried to find someone to speak with when we left...

I am sorry to hear that my night security was doing that, especially since they are supposed to be walking unless they are checking the beaches on the bike path. if you could I would appreciate it if you could call me here at the campground, 802-862-0942, and ask for the Manager and I would like to apologize to you...

Decent campground. Has all the amenities you would need. Sites are very close together, but it is what it is. Nice location on Lake Champlain- beach is right there. Centrally located- close to town. Campfires must be out by midnight, which seemed too early. Bring US quarters for the shower (.25 for 7 mins). Great stay for beginner campers. Reasonably...

Thank you for the response! We enjoy hearing from our campers especially when they've enjoyed themselves. I also figured since you took the time to write about us I would respond about the sites. Boy are you right they are tight and we are looking to do something about them this fall we are hoping to add some full hookup...

This campground so much potential however being run by the city of Burlington has significant drawbacks. The worst is the shower. It looks like there hasn't been any investment since the 70s. The tiny showers still require two quarters for seven minutes sometimes hot water. My biggest gripe was the visitor policy. My two adult kids and their friends stopped...

Stayed at North Beach Campground from 9/21 to 9/27 and did not find the problems sited by other reviewers. First, I found the staff very accommodating and friendly, both before I arrived and while here. I had to make changes to my reservation twice in the last month before arrival, and both times the staff helped and were very helpful....

Stayed here for two nights. The location is great, and next the beach. First off this is a Beach campground and only a space to park your ride and hopefully still be able to open your door to get inside. the spaces are crammed in, mos camper canopy's almost touch the camper beside them. if you have a fire be...
