This was our favorite stay during our 10-day road trip through Vermont. The hotel is immaculate, and our room was spacious and well-appointed. The lobby area is filled with comfy chairs, which we enjoyed while waiting for our room to be ready (we arrived early). The location, between the waterfront and Church Street Marketplace, is perfect. We splurged on a room with a lake view, and it was worth every penny. Even when it rained, the lake was fascinating to watch. We used contactless check-in and check-out so didn't interact with staff. Breakfast is not included; we ate at the Skinny Pancake a couple of blocks away. There is a charge for parking in the adjacent garage. A little pricey, but overall highly recommended.

Booked three rooms for a bachelor party. One being a king suite and the others being double beds. Upon checking in I was told the hospitality suite wasn’t available for upgrade so we kept with the 1 BR suite. The 1 BR suite had an odd oder and stained sheets. I didn’t see this until about 2AM when we retired for the night so I waited until the next day to say something. I again asked if possible to be moved to the hospitality suite due to my Marriott status but was told it wasn’t available only to find out it was open for booking online. I then had to negotiate on the upgrade fee and got a discounted rate but had to pay $150 more than the 1 BR suite for the upgrade. You would have thought with me spending $3K on rooms for two nights plus alcohol and food at the hotel they would have just done this for free as a good gesture… nonetheless, the hospitality suite had a beautiful view but the hotel is definitely in need of a remodel. I would say this is a very average courtyard but your paying a premium due to location (which is a great location…). They currently do not offer room service or housekeeping as most due to our current state. Since I am eligible for a 2PM checkout we had this on all our rooms but the key stopped working at 12PM so we had to go back to the lobby for new keys… then once upstairs around 1PM the lobby called saying no rush but just wanted to see if you checked out yet….yikes, not the gentleman’s intention but you can imagine how this comes across… Just an average stay… rating as three stays because it’s average.

I’m a Platinum Marriott, and have never written a bad review. If I could give this hotel a 0, I would. The General Manager gave me a hard time during check in, I showed my Govt ID and he didn’t want to give me the discounted rate at checkin. I only received the discounted rate after telling the GM to cancel my room, because I was going to the Hilton next door or Delta. I called Marriott to complain, didn’t hear back from Marriott for 3 weeks. Marriott, as a company, has changed for the worst. My profile states Feather Free room, yet this accommodation is rarely met. The Courtyard Marriott Burlington gave me a hard time about this request as well. Most of the staff at this hotel were rude, only 1 younger man, who worked the desk, was helpful. I’m going back to Burlington next month, and will be staying at the Hilton. The Hilton has nicer rooms, kind staff and treat Diamond members (I’m a Hilton Diamond) better. Very disappointed in this hotel.

Hi Safari61644818837, as explained, the government rate is only available for federal government travel only, not state travel, as stated on our website at the time of booking. Please know, even though these are the policies, we did make a one time exception and granted you the government rate for your stay. Regards, Christian Kuzia, GM

Love this Courtyard! Rooms were spacious and extremely clean. Outside courtyard was beautiful to hang out and read or have drinks. The staff was very friendly especially Hannah. We travel frequently and her service and friendliness really stood out. Whether it was needing restaurant recommendations, helping out with laundry facility, or just extra kindness to our kids, she was just amazing. Was sad she didn’t work the whole time we were here. Would highly recommend staying here!

Fabulous spot downtown Burlington across from Battery Park, convenient to all downtown. We had a lake front view, which is amazing. Staff is super friendly, rooms were very clean and modern. Parking on site is a plus.
