Walking distance to many restaurants, a theater, and the waterfront . Church street marketplace is just across the street. There is a dinner cruise during the summer that is about two blocks away, next to the Echo center, a really nice maratime museum.

Like the others I have not been to the Marriott, but did very much enjoy the Hilton Garden Inn. The staff was friendly professional and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel is ideal for walking around Burlington, but if you want a small quaint intimate Inn, this is not it. The HGI is fairly new and is designed with a more modern style with simple minimalist lines.
