We recently had the misfortune of falling prey to a deal falsely portrayed on the Internet. The pictures of The Castle, Point and pool fell flat upon our arrival. The rooms are what you'd expect at an average motel with views of the rest of the building. The pool was filled with screaming children. The restaurant was obscenely over priced,...

We stayed in a 3+br condo which offered access to the resort facilities including the outdoor pool and jacuzzi (which the kids loved). Our unit was clean and reasonably modern and included large loft space and a sitting area with a door in addition to the 3 bedrooms. Felt like a much better value than some of the on-mountain options...

My wife and I just returned from a two night stay at Castle Hill Resort. This is a charming old home built in 1902. We stayed in Room #9 on the 2nd floor. The online photos of this hotel are accurate. The interior is warm and impressive with its dark oak floors and walls. Our room was quite beautiful, with...

Our family stayed in the Pointe Hotel portion of the Castle Hill Resort and Spa in Cavendish, VT last July (out of season). Not only was the hotel charming, the indoor and outdoor pools made the stay fabulous and truly relaxing. We swam inside when it was rainy and cool - and on our last day there, we enjoyed the...

Stayed at Castle Pointe. Heating Controls were not working well. Needed to switch between keeping window open and turning on the heat to maintain climate control. Hotel ran out of hot water. Never experienced this at at any hotel before, "definitely not a resort". Had to get my own towels and bath amenities at the front desk, because of lack...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the castle while we were skiing at okemo. It is minutes from the mountain and only 35 minutes from killington. The castle itself is beautiful and rustic and our room had very old unique features as well as a soaker tub with whirlpool jets installed. I am a snot about beds and I had...

The deal was amazing! Our price being off season was extremely reasonable. We stayed near the spa and that was just where I wanted to be as I mainly wanted to swim in the outdoor pool and relax in the hot tub. My daughter joined me to celebrate my birthday as I had never been to Vermont and I was...

Rented condo to be with friends over New Year's. Positives: Condo was clean, liked being close to the spa, had shuttle to the mountain. Negatives: Pull out bed was horrendous, king bed had the smallest pillows I have ever seen, indoor pool was so-so, kitchen was poorly stocked. Only 4 mugs, no pan for making pancakes, no waffle iron, no...

Just spent two nights here using a Travelzoo voucher. It is a beautiful setting, even in November, and my husband and I, both Canadians, loved being 40 minutes from New Hampshire: no sales tax! But we truly loved the Okemo ski resort area, the town of Ludlow and surrounding area in Vermont. The 'castle' is beautiful. Certainly one might say...

accommodations were clean, quiet, comfortable and perfect for a quick couple getaway to explore the area before the 'ski' season. We spent most of our time out, but we treated to a comfortable king-size bed. The was compact with ample hot water and pressure.
