This motel is on the dated side. It's a basic place with no frills but is very clean and the rooms have a nice view of the meadow. The owners are helpful and friendly. They also have coffee, muffins and cereal in the office area for breakfast.

Motel in the Meadow pretty much embodies the type of motel I hoped to stay in while in Vermont. The room was clean and comfortable. Pat, the owner, was very nice and helpful, and went the extra mile to let my mother borrow an electric kettle for her tea during our stay. I live in the city, so I took... More

Lovely room, very cozy, clean, nice beds, decent bathroom. Friendly staff, very helpful, late arrival was no problem. Sweet little store at the motel. It's right by a main road, but traffic noise is not disturbing. Breakfast very minimal -- cereal and muffins.

We found the room to be clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had wonderful thick towels as well as plentiful hot water. Beds were quite firm and bed linens were fresh and clean. Lobby was small and offered local goods for purchase. Did not avail ourselves of the modest breakfast.

This place was built in 1950. It reminds you of a Motel 6 but better. Bathrooms are small (1950) and the furniture is old but it is a good place to stay. I would stay here again. Clean and neat. After visiting the area, it seemed very well located and reasonable compared to all the other places in this area.... More

We stayed one night in the butterfly room. The room was very dark, so we had to put the lights on when we were in the room. It was rather small, and when we dropped something which rolled behind the drawer, it was obvious it hadn't been cleaned out there in a long time. The bathroom was clean, one of... More

Motel in the Meadow is truly a throw back, meaning it's simply an old school motel like the one I stayed in as a kid traveling with Mom & Dad 40 years ago. Clean, neat, organized rooms, no modern day brass and glass, just a comfortable bed, and a hot shower. SIMPLE yet it works. We arrived late (~10 p.m.)... More

We stayed here on a ski trip to Okemo. When we arrived we were greeted by Pat, one of the friendliest ladies I have ever meet. The motel in in a quite area of the town, but not far from Chester Center. It is a charming, clean and warm place. The rooms were spotless, the bathrooms immaculate and the beds... More

We were looking for an affordable place to stay to ski Okemo. This motel is everything you hope for in a no-fuss motel at this price point. The rooms were small but cute, reminding us of motels from our childhood. The room had nice touches including a comfortable chair and a small table and chairs. The bathroom was immaculate, the... Clean. Simple. Owner-operated. Reminded me of the trips with my parents when you just drove and found a place that looked nice to stay for the night onto your next destination although here you could stay for a few days and settle in to what the beautiful countryside has to offer. We would definitely stay again.
