This welcoming B and B is in the center of a picturesque Vermont village close to Okemo mountain. Our host greeted us with cookies and a smile. He also helped us with our bags, since we were in a room upstairs at the back of the house. After unpacking, we went downstairs to sit in the rockers on his front...

The gentleman who runs the inn is very nice, breakfast was wonderful and was cooked by his wife. Muffins, waffles, fruit, juice, coffee and a baked apple, delicious!!! The room was nice, very clean! The house is right on the main road, traffic does go by all hours of the day and night. There is a Scottish restaurant in walking...

Chester is a tranquil New England town close to many surrounding activities and Sights. Bob was always eager to offer suggestions and directions, and his wife Jan cooked up a delicious breakfast every morning. The rooms are beautiful and the whole place is very well kept.

We attended a celebration of life event at the Chester Inn recently. The staff did an amazing job. After the celebration we went back to dinner with our group. My wife had the salmon well done and I had the 1 1/2 lb steamed lobster special. Both were outstanding. Our server Lisa provided excellent service. There were 30 guests for...

Stayed at the Chester House with my family. The room was large, very comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated. All the comforts of a nice hotel with much more character, feeling of home, and a delicious breakfast! The owners were very friendly and helpful. Even had an unexpected TV in the room so we could watch the Olympics.

Room was very big with a large whirlpool bath, nice pillows. Typical Victorian Inn decor. But its the owners that make the difference. They treated us so nice, still cooked us lemon poppy waffles when we were late for breakfast. Made us feel like kids home from college getting spoiled by mom and dad. great value and the town is postcard...

We only stayed one night and enjoyed our stay there. The host was very friendly, the place was very clean, quaint and the food excellent. It is right in "downtown" Chester, so nice restaurants & shops were right across the street. Room was quiet and very comfortable.

This what you might expert from an authentic small country hotel. A quilted bed. Warm interior and a friendly host. A a perfect veranda to sit at night. A pleasant garden and of course the American flag is proudly prominent in the garden. In the winter time you can use the library.

Comfortable and very accommodating. Bob was waiting for us (evening arrival) and very gracious. Made us comfortable with all the amenities (homemade cookies, coffee available, sitting areas and room). The breakfast was the showstopper! The lemon poppy waffles (following homemade muffins and delightful fruit cup) were the best we have ever tasted! A country retreat. Thanks, Bob and Jan!

This B&B is in the center of Chester Vermont with a short walk to bookstore, shops, and restaurants. Bob, the host, was friendly and helpful from the time we called.
