We stayed the last weekend of June 2020. This property is about 3 and a half miles from the waterfront in Burlington and an easy drive by car. The hotel looks to be a newer property and was nicely decorated and appeared clean. We couldn't use any of the amenities due to Covid, no pool or hot tub, no breakfast buffet, had to settle for the "grab and go" breakfast, not much to talk about there. Not the hotel's fault, but if you can go out for breakfast you're better off. The hotel has 4 floors and 2 good sized elevators so we didn't wait much or get crowded with others in the elevator although I don't think the hotel was full. Our room was very nice with a king size bed, a walk in shower, a full service kitchen and a living room area with pull out. It seemed like a studio apartment feel. Nice for a couple or a couple with small children, but there would be no privacy for older children or a second couple.
There was a nifty swivel mount for the TV so you could watch it from the bed or from the living room. The TV was high quality and had a lot of channels. The bathroom was nice. The vanity sink and mirror were outside the shower/toilet room so 2 people could easily get ready at the same time. Everything was very clean. The room had an obvious commercial chemical smell no doubt the result of cleaning for Covid-19 purposes. You got used to it quickly, but every time you returned to the room you would notice it again. I assume that was due to Covid and would not be that way under normal circumstances. The hotel staff was friendly and responsive when interacting. All wore masks when interacting.

We got a studio double room. It was clean, comfortable and overall very pleasant. The kitchenette was larger than expected including a full size refrigerator and small dish washer. Even the cookware was decent.
The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and clean. Due to covid-19 the breakfast was a "bagged breakfast". That included juice, yogurt, some kind of meat sandwich (I don't eat meat so it was wasted), and a pastry. One of the bags had an apple.
It appeared to me that all that was possible was being done to protect against covid. Masks worn at all times that I saw, pens were only used once, and spacing was adhered to.
The overall appearance inside and out was attractive.
My one complaint is that we would have preferred 2 beds which they don't have although if you wanted to go to the trouble there was a fold out couch.

Easy, friendly check-in, Lifetime Titanium status acknowledged. Room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast (piece of fruit, juice, muffin or danish) is picked up at the front desk. In-room coffee maker produces a predictably horrid result. As others have mentioned, HVAC system is pretty loud, but we turned it off and opened the windows so as not to be bothered by it. Would definitely stay here again when traveling in the area.

Our kids loved the hotel so much they cried when we told them it’s time to leave. The hotel is new, clean, and is very detailed when it comes to cleaning and making things feel COVID safe. Everyone had masks on, there was constant cleaning going on, the breakfast was bagged to be picked up at the front, and the property even included tennis courts and a pool. While not in downtown Burlington, it was just a short drive from the Lake and restaurants and very close to groceries.

We were traveling for a college drop off weekend in Northern Vermont. We like Residence in and the one in Burlington/ Colchester did not disappoint!

We were greeted by warm, friendly, and knowledgeable staff who talked us through the new processes and enhanced safety measures. Everything was distanced with plexiglas at the front desk and even a SUPER CUTE Vermont teddy bear wearing a mask. LOL! They really made us feel safe and that was really important to us.

The suite was clean, spacious, and well stocked. It truly was our home away from home for the weekend. We even appreciated the modified grab and go breakfast that allowed us to fuel up for the move in.

We definitely will return to this residence inn and might have found our new go-to destination for our Northern Vermont travels.

We stayed in this hotel for about a week during July 4th and had an amazing time. The hotel itself was wonderful, clean, and comfortable. The main reason I am giving this hotel a 3 is because when we checked in, the nice gentleman behind the counter said housekeeping service would be every 3 days. As a family of 4, we thought that was doable, but when the 4th day came and still no housekeeping, I went to the front desk that morning asking about housekeeping and the young lady informed me that housekeeping was as requested, not on certain days. When I asked her if we could be put on the list for that day she informed me that they couldn't clean our room until the following day. This was clearly a breakdown in staff communication. If I had known, I would have certainly requested housekpeeing on a particular day. In the end, we were given additional towels and no housekpeeing during our entire stay. Would I come back, probably but I will be asking about housekeeping schedules.

Absolutely wonderful! I stayed here for almost two months in the fall and couldn’t have been happier with my choice. The staff is kind and attentive, the housekeeping is top notch, and the location is perfect for those looking to be close to Burlington while having easy access to the highway. This hotel will definitely be my go-to for future stays in the Burlington area.

This hotel is in need of a remodel. Carpet and furniture is worn. There were a lot of people with dogs staying here so if you travel with a dog it may be a good choice, otherwise no so much. We requested a high floor and even though we are Marriott members at Titanium Elite level we were given a room on the first floor which apparently is where all the people with dogs stay.

The front desk staff has been so supremely kind and helpful. The place is very attractive and clean and the rooms have everything a person would need. For example, a stove, full standing large frig, coffee maker, microwave, all flatware and cooking equipment, etc. The room was large with a swivel tv so you can watch sitting on the couch or in bed. Nice pool, gym, and outside area to enjoy. Only 5 minutes to Burlington. 5 star place

We love Residence Inn in Colchester, VT. The staff is always cheerful. Anne greeted us both days we were there and always asked how our day was going and if there was anything we needed.
The rooms are well maintained, bright and clean. At our most recent stay we were provided with an upgrade to a suite. That was such a great experience. The room had a fireplace and a separate sitting area from the bedroom.
The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans. This is the only hotel we will stay at when we visit Burlington.
