Nice little inn, pretty rooms. Breakfast was delicious and the innkeeper was very friendly and accommodating. No central air, which is probably just fine for a vast majority of the year. The price was a bit steep but seems fair for the area/in comparison with near by b&bs.

Spent an amazing week there this summer and cannot wait to return! Spectacularly renovated and decorated in an eclectic of farmhouse and modernity. Pristine, comfortably elegant rooms with the most dreamy beds dressed in crisp, white linens. Multiple, generously sized, art-filled lounges for reading, relaxing or resting after a delicious home cooked breakfast prepared just for you each morning! Chic,...

We chose your place for our family reunion because we prefer the casual type of atmosphere that sets the tone at Marble West. That said, the attention to detail - in furnishings, linens and artwork to name a few - is exceptional. You've actually created a very modern (and probably rare) blend of luxury and shared-economy independence. Your cook made...

Alastair Sawday publishes books on "special places." If he should ever get around to covering the US, then the Marble West Inn would definitely be included. First, it's an historic farmhouse c. 1840. Second, its undergone a complete restoration so you are guaranteed the comforts of modernity. Third, the artist/Innkeeper, has decorated it with modern and comfortable furnishings with art...

Most of our large Family; aunts, uncles, cousins, etc, stayed here for a recent Family Reunion. The house has been beautifully renovated and decorated with fine furniture and a variety of art. The atmosphere was very laissez faire, which I prefer in a B&B. Each morning you were awakened to the aromas of a wonderful breakfast. After much food, fellowship...

I had won this trip in an auction and brought my fiancée up for Labor Day weekend to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. We spent 2 days there, but I wish it could have been two weeks. The place is amazing, made more so by Connie, our wonderful hostess. We asked for tea the first night we were there, and when...

We recently spent a spectacular weekend with family and friends at The Marble West Inn and it was, quite honestly, the best Inn experience we've ever had. Dorset is picture-perfect VT, and everything about the Marble West Inn's exterior - white clapboard, green lawns, rocking chairs on porch, old-fashioned bicycles, croquet, Adirondack chairs, a raised veggie patch, and a babbling...

We recently got married at the inn's other property, the Marble House, which is just down the road. They did a wonderful job! But the real standout experience was staying in this inn. We took it over for the weekend in question and everyone who stayed there - from close friends, to immediate family, to relatives from overseas - has...

My wife and I came to Manchester, VT for a romantic weekend getaway. The place we originally booked (The Equinox) was absolutely terrible; we checked out in a hurry and were looking for a B&B nearby. Lucky for us, we stumbled onto Marble West Inn, and ended up having a great weekend with a story to tell! Connie is the...

Just 5-10 minutes drive from Manchester, VT lies the Marble West Inn. We stayed there for three nights and absolutely enjoyed our stay. Very warm welcome by innkeeper Connie made us feel at home from day 1. Delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, and fireplaces makes this Inn a very pleasant place to stay. The place has been renovated in 2014. Will...

Connie let us choose our room when we got there and when we said we were sensitive to noise, she made sure to recommend the one she thought would be most away from any possible noise from others moving around.”
