We spent one night here whilst on a tour of New England. The room was clean, warm and comfortable and the meal in the restaurant delicious. We would recommend this Inn.

I have stayed at the Grey Bonnet on five separate occasions over the past several years, sometimes with my husband and sometimes by myself or with girlfriends. Accordingly, I was surprised to read some of the comments left here by people whose visits, by their own admission, didn't even take them past the reception desk. The Grey Bonnet's location cannot...

We booked based on website information and many things were not as advertised which we weren't told at the time of reservation. The jacuzzi was not operational (neither was indoor pool), we were told that building was closed because "no one had requested to use it" and "it would take an hour to heat it up". After checking in we...

MY NAME IS BEN TYLER AND I AM NOT HAPPY. The owner was unwelcoming to us as we were a big group of school children. He was very unhelpful and expected us to pay for all our entertainment and drinks. We were in a room below ground level that was small and cramped. The bathroom was mouldy with YELLOW water....

We book a room thru priceline - Upon arrival at the holtel, we were sent to a moldy, musty room IN THE BASEMENT, I presume as punishment for booking at a discounted rate on the internet!! The bathroom was dirty and there was black mold on the walls. When we asked for a different room an on upper floor, we...

We'd just left the Hilton in New York which had been superb - elegant, plush, all chrome, etc etc. Yet we preferred this homely, no-frills inn with its cosy atmosphere, knowledgeable inn- keeper and (I'm tempted to say eccentric and I truly mean it as a compliment) barman, pleasant waiting staff. No - there are no complimentary toiletries provided; yes...

We loved this place! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the food excellent, with a number of good restaurants nearby for variety. There is a gigantic stone fireplace, a welcoming bar and a very nice hot tub. Downstairs, there is a cozy library, a den and many games, including ping pong, pool, fussbal and more! We were minutes away from...

We stayed here for a week near the end of March, it was near the end of the season. We ended up with unbelievably cold weather, even for Vermont, and had a decent week of skiing. This inn is not too far away from the main access road, it is fairly easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay. What...

This hotel was a disappointment to us. Arriving late at night after travelling from the UK, we were greeted with a cup of tea. No-one offered to help us with our luggage even though there was no lift. The room which we had was furnished with 'antiques'. Antiques are fine if they are maintained. The knobs were falling off both...

Very comfortable, down-home property. Owner most gracious and caring. Breakfasts made to order every morning. Great way to start the day. A true "we'll leave the light on for ya" kind of place. I loved it!
