We had a very positive experience at the lodge. To help this place stock up on the excellent reviews, I'll just share more of the same of what you'd find in the other 5 star reviews of the upper pass lodge. Cozy, clean, pets welcomed, delicious food & drinks, spacious rooms, 2 steps from magic mountain. Vince the G.M really...

What is special about the Upper Pass Lodge is not the Lodge itself, it's the steady improvements I've seen each visit I've made. The first time I was there, (I'm making some assumptions now) I think it had recently changed ownership and the original management was still there. I was not impressed, but, the location and price were right for...

Got a LivingSocial voucher earlier this is year and finally had a chance to use it this past weekend. Even though leaf-peeping season has passed, it was wonderful autumn weekend and we enjoyed the peaceful, relaxing environment in beautiful Vermont. Vince, the manager, was very accommodating and easy to communicate with (helped change our reservations twice). He and his friendly...

We just returned from a visit to VT.and we stayed at this great location very laid back and comfortable environment. This hotel has a nice restaurant as well as a cool little bar and a very nice sitting area complete with a large stone fireplace. You really do not have to leave unless you want to. We stayed 2 nights for a girls weekend. The hotel is very accessible with great atmosphere. There is a small bar and restaurant on site. The views are beautiful and it was a good value for the price we paid.

First it is an older property that has not had much updating. It's located down the road from the ski area. Magic Mountain. The stairs to the second floor are steep and narrow. We'd requested a second floor room to avoid noise above us. We were upgraded to a family suite. Sounds better than it was. The rooms were separated...

My girlfriend and I, and four other couples, all spent an early-fall weekend together in Vermont, staying in the Upper Pass Lodge. The lodge could not have been a better place for our trip. We purchased living social deals. They came with two free breakfasts — which were delicious, and incorporated local ingredients — a cheese plate with wine, and...

We spent a wonderful weekend here in September. The room was large and comfortable. We had a deck which was lovely. It is pet friendly, which was wonderful. The breakfast was outstanding, as was the dinner. Vince was a great host. The location would be perfect in ski season for skiing at Magic Mountain. The wifi was no good in...

My family from out west stayed here for a week and LOVED the place. They had a 3 bedroom unit with 3 baths, large living room and mini kitchen they could not have been more comfortable. On the weekend a surprise 60th birthday party was held there for me and many of my friends and family also stayed there (10...
