First to greet us was our hosts with a warm welcoming smile, second was the feeling of walking into grandma’s house; warm and inviting. The rooms are lovely; we stayed in the Morning Glory room, and the bed was amazing! Usually at old inns you expect to have at least a slightly saggy bed, but this was perfect; firm but comfortable for both my husband and I. That alone was worth a return trip! But the breakfast was wonderful, and the house so relaxing. I would make this B&B a destination in its own right!

We toured the White Mountains and concluded our trip with a stay at the McIndoe Falls Inn. My mother worked at the Inn over 60 years ago, before the internet, social media and interstate 91 !
We enjoyed a splendid stay. Gloria and Ken were perfect hosts and Gloria's breakfast was fantastic! We also enjoyed visiting with Gloria and Ken and getting to know them. Wonderful folks.
The Inn itself is 200 years old and takes you back in time.In a sleepy little town ( tho close to worthy sights and activity options) this is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful stay with perfect hosts. We woll go back again.

We decided to go to New Hampshire's White Mountains region on a whim (from Canada). We thought nothing of the fact it was Labor Day weekend and we "assumed" we would have no problem finding accommodations. Like many assumptions, this one well... lacked ASSurance.
When we could not find anything in Littleton, NH, we asked for recommendations. That is when we found out about the McIndoe Falls Inn. I proceeded to call and Gloria invited us over. This meant we had to back track up into Vermont, but at least we had a place to stay.

We had no idea what to expect and when it got dark on our way to the Inn, we started getting worried. All of our fears were put to rest when we stepped inside and Gloria welcomed us with open arms. We were showed to our rooms and we slept like babies. The next morning I came downstairs to find my children in the kitchen being thoroughly entertained by Gloria, who was whipping up a storm and Ken who was conversing with all of the guests.

You know the “mystique” of the quintessential B & B nestled in the hills of Vermont? THIS IS THE REAL DEAL! And best of all, we found it totally by chance and what an incredible find it was! From the 200+ year old home to the incredible hospitality of its proprietors; it may have been luck that brought us there, but it will not be luck that brings us back.

We were sad to go, but Old Man Mountain was calling and after hugs we were off. If you are looking for an incredible B & B experience, look no further. Be forewarned, one night will not be enough!!!

The heart and soul of any hospitality operation is the innkeeper. And after spending the first few minutes with Gloria and Ken upon my arrival I knew that these are people who get it. I can't quite tell you just how impressed I was with this little out-of-the-way-but-worth-the-trip jewel. Quaint, Charming, Clean - (sheets were pressed and I was IMpressed).. and Very quiet - this is the place to relax and recharge. These are folks who live, eat and breath the concept of hospitality and it shows in all they do. Gloria has this 'gift'.. and is able to sum up just what ya need in a matter of seconds.. and then begins to work on making your stay exactly what you'd hoped it would be. And then to top it all off.. breakfast was exceptional - and the conversation with all the other guests around the table was just as natural as if I'd known them for years. I have to tell you, I hadn't really planned on it or expected it.. I mean, to me it was just supposed to be a place to sleep and be on my way .. but somehow in the process I was able to realign and renew my spirit, and I feel as though I've made some life-long friends. Thank you, G & K!

I had the pleasure of staying at McIndoe Falls Inn while visiting Dog Mountain (Stephen Huneck's Gallery) and Shambhala Meditation Center in St. Johnsbury. For the quintessential Vermont experience, there's no place better than this amazing 200 year old inn. The farm fresh homemade breakfast, magical gardens (complete with Highland cattle), and lush solarium were complemented by modern conveniences like Wi-Fi. Convivial hosts Gloria and Ken provide a cozy, peaceful setting where their guests can relax, recharge and enjoy the good life in Vermont.

The inn, the area and the staff offer alot of character and charm. Easy to get to from the highway yet nicely out of the way. The breakfast was delicious as well as healthy. Historic, lots of very nice antique furniture, natural landscape, fresh air, clean water, peace and quiet... Memorable experience...

It was a pleasure to stay in this 200 year old inn and escape the hustle of the city. We were referred here when a local motel in St. Johnsbury was sold out and I am glad it was. The innkeepers, Gloria and Ken only add to the charm. You could not have met nicer people to talk with and take care of you. They have a wonderful little bed and breakfast which we were told they have been operating for 45 years. I am sorry we had not found this place sooner. I highly suggesting staying if you make it up to this part of Vermont. We will be back next time we get out of NYC!!!

Very dusty and cluttered. Old uncomfortable beds. Very dim lighting in the bedroom. The owners are kind and friendly but that didn't make the experience more pleasant. This place has the potential to be charming.

A cozy night spent in this eclectically furnished B & B. The double bed was comfortable, but a bit small. Maria, our hostess, was a warm and smiling lady who recommended a local restaurant for dinner and then the next morning provided us with a hearty breakfast of farm fresh eggs ( from her farm ) and local bacon. Her zucchini bread was delicious.
