The Swift House Inn is a historic and comfortable inn, particularly convenient for visitors to Middlebury College. We stayed in the Swift Room, which was extremely spacious, with a very reasonable rate. Thee inn is a good base for exploring the area; for example, we took a tour of Middlebury College and checked out the cute little town, including Merchants...

This was the first B&B we have ever stayed in. We stayed in the Alexander Twilight Room in the Gate House for two nights when attending a wedding in Middlebury at another hotel. The room had a very small bathroom, not big enough for two people to be in it at once, but other than that we very much enjoyed...

A nice cozy Inn not far from the events at Middlebury College. The onsite restaurant was reasonably priced and the meals well-prepared. Clean and well-kept. Very pleasant staff. The room was reasonably sized. Our room had forced hot air, which can made it very dry. A nice Inn for couples. Quiet. Easy access to town.

We had a magical stay at the Swift House Inn this past long weekend. We had the pleasure of touring a few open rooms during our stay and each one was unique and had decorate with much care and consideration. Such a perfect blend of Old New England with pieces of original furniture and hints of history... but with all...

My boyfriend and I stayed at this B&B for New Year's Eve this past weekend. We came on a whim, and it ended up being an amazing decision! The drive up from Boston is gorgeous and Middlebury itself is a wonderful town. We met some great people, and will have memories for a lifetime! The rooms are nice and clean,...

This is my second time staying at the Swift House Inn in the carriage house. Each time has been a fantastic stay. While not being a very large Inn in size, Swift makes up for in charm. The staff is wonderfully friendly and brings a sense of home-ish touch to your stay. The rooms are spacious and have comfortable accommodations....

Looking for a place to celebrate our 38th Wedding Anniversary. Found Swift House Inn B&B website booked a room in advance (Garden Room). Day of arrival we were greeted by friendly staff that went overboard to meet our needs. Warm and comfortable private room. Meals at Jessica's were great. Eggs cooked your way. Cozy seating, great friendly wait staff. We...

Spent 5 lovely nights with them. The room was great and the bed comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent. The owner was very gracious and personable. The grounds were beautiful and the town itself was quaint and fun to explore.

We spent three nights at Swift House in late October. Our room was spacious and well outfitted. It was a bit cold outside during our stay, but I am happy to report that the windows were well insulated and the heat worked well. The furnishings were of high quality, and the room lacked the doilies and endless flower prints that...
