The place looks like a ghetto. The owners take no pride in the appearance of the buildings on the property. Some are boarded with plywood and have graffiti on them. Check out the recent news paper article.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I have to say, I've seen some Econo Lodges and they haven't been pretty. This one went above and beyond most hotels I've ever stayed at. We got their smaller room (which was the size of a normal room) and it was clean, comfortable queen beds, and the staff was super friendly. Stayed their for a week with a military...

Overpriced, not maintained, everything old. We stayed in a lot of hotels on our 90 day road trip from Washington State thru Prince Edward Island Canada and back to Washingon State thru Canada. We traveled thru all North East US. The Econo Lodge in Vermont was by far the worst and most expensive of all the hotel we stayed in...

Stopped here for 1 night since other places were booked. Staff were ok but entire place and rooms need a complete makeover. Stains, tears on carpet, bad odor in room and halls. Surprised other reviewers said anything good. I'm willing to stay anywhere when I have little choice but this place would land at the bottom of my list compared...

We hadn't booked ahead, just turned up and asked for a room for the night. Lady at desk was very welcoming. Offered discount for AA membership. Room was a bit musty, but appeared to have been slightly remodelled recently. Comfortable beds. Close to town for restaurants, etc. Only a few cars in the parking area when we headed into town...

We are a European couple (British and German) and stopped in at this Econo Lodge during the Vermont leg of our New England road trip. The hotel is a bit out of town up a hill. The hotel is really not well maintained. While the rooms are spacious, they are not clean. We found other people's loose Cheetos on the...

I have never been in such a filthy, and uncared for property. It was awful. Also the fan in the bathroom was too loud. There was dirt, dust, and cobwebs everywhere. It just wasn't clean. I'm not even sure a deep cleaning could help this place after so many years of neglect. The windows do not open so there's no...

Hotel needs serious refurbishment. Carpet stains, musty smell, loose screws, poorly made amateurish repairs. Wifi was not functional in the room. Would not recommend unless absolutely necessary in the area.
