Nice and friendly inn in need of some cosmetic repairs. Very friendly staff and homey feel. Note there is no cell signal and wifi is only in the common room. This actually ended up being an appreciated forced break from the cell phone. They have tea and cookies always available - nice touch. A good dinner stop is the Scottish...

Beautiful Inn, innkeeper, who is not the owner was very friendly & helpful. If you need internet & TV, this is not the place for you. If you want quite & relaxation try this inn. The grounds are a bit overgrown & some small repairs are needed. The furnishings are beautiful & rooms large. Breakfast was made to order &...

My wife and I only stayed for one night but were most impressed. From the outside - OK. But on the inside - Wow!! I was transfixed by the building as soon as I was through the door. The photos on their website do not do it justice. Our room, thickly carpeted, was vast and the bed was very comfortable....

Quiet, tranquil, and well-managed home and surrounding grounds. We woke daily to fresh air, majestic green mountains, and the bullfrogs mating calls in the near by pond...evenings were cool, starry, and quiet less cell phone svc, tv, and limited wifi. Inn keeper, Lisa, was very friendly and personable and always aimed to please. Breakfast consist of fresh fruit, breads, and...

We stayed at the Yagna Inn for 3 nights while in Chester for a family event. We usually stay with family but couldn't this trip; it was an excellent choice!! We honestly were a little hesitant about staying because of some of the previous reviews, but our fears were absolutely unfounded. We arrived late evening on a weekday (about 6:30pm)...

Great place to visit!! My favorite time to visit is in October to check out the Vermont foliage. Room was clean. Employees were friendly and very helpful. Local shops and restaurants located close by. I recommend Leslie's Tavern for fine dining.

Our room in the cottage was lovely and the countryside was beautiful, but there was no one there to welcome us on arrival or for the whole evening just a letter of welcome for all guests. Again no one was available to help with a problem getting in to our room on the following night. That said the manager came...

Stayed for a couple of days at the start of our New England tour. Lovely setting - surrounded by woods. Nice lounge area. Looks as good as it does in the photos! Great suite - large bed, separate living area with gas fire, patio. Only downsides were no wifi in the rooms and a slightly limited choice for breakfast.

This inn is a little bit hard to find, especially at night without signs, but we found out why.. It's a secluded lodge in the middle of Vermont, with no cell service and no televisions. It was nice to turn off our cell phones and sit outside listening to traffic from a distance. We could have sat in the spacious...

We were met by the friendly inn keeper who showed us to our rooms (two couples). Since we arrived around dinner time, it would have been nice to have had a list of local places to eat. Upon request she did mention several local places, but neglected to comment that reservations would be required. After attempting to eat at three...
