My husband and I stayed here for three days two weeks ago.
This is a quiet, amazingly clean campground with grassy sites and average privacy screening between sites.

The owner, Dan was very nice and helpful. The grounds were clean and well kept, with flower gardens around the bathrooms and laundry.

The bathrooms were spotless and a fresh bouquet of garden flowers was vased by the sinks in both restrooms.

The sites where we were were spacious and open, but that made for easy parking ( there is a pull through site as well). Firewood was available for 7.00 a bundle. Ahhh the campfires.. our site had the worst fire pit. They are made from steel pipe, but ours being seemingly newer, had no ventilation in the bottom to draft the fire. It simply did not work for us and the prospects for a nice flame or cooking coals did not happen.

One other negative was the virtually non existent Wi-Fi. One bar was the norm which did not allow for much in the way of emailing, especially if you want to attach pictures. ( I think they may be working on that or the cable .. which we did not use.)

For a city based camping location, it was far enough away from the street that you don’t hear the traffic. It is near grocery stores and shopping, with some good restaurants in the area . ( We went to a hamburger and ice cream place nearby with outstanding burgers.)

For us, this campground was more than adequate, since our days are spent away and the evenings were quiet. For me, a clean campground is a great campground and therefore we were very comfortable staying there. The cost was very reasonable for water and electricity..$60.00/night, I believe.
( Sorry, my photos are too big to post )

We have stayed here several times. The owners are very pleasant, the location is super convenient to the Shelburne Museum or Burlington. Bath/restrooms/laundry nice and clean. Windmill restaurant convenient for a delicious breakfast before you head down the road. Highly recommend it.

This is a great, basic campground. We stayed here for 3 nights in 2019 & and have no complaints. Great location! Easy to get to and close to Burlington VT. Shelburne is a great little town and easy to get around. Nearby is Fiddlehead brewery and Folinos Pizzeria, both are amazing and in the same building. Our site was easy to get into & moderately private. Park is a blend of transient and seasonal campers. Owners were very friendly and last time we visited they offered discounts for returning campers from Canada. Once border reopens will we definitely return!

We booked here for a 3 night stay, the campground was disappointing. Online the website and brochure map showed “2 pools and playground” there was 1 small pool and NO playground or play area. After checking in we were told they have WIFI but it only reached half of the sites and wouldn’t reach ours. They gave us a map of the campground and our children followed it to find the playground pictured on the map, but after not finding it and asking other seasonal campers they were told that at one time there was a playground but that was years ago. The grass on our campsite was about a foot tall but we asked at the office and they came by and mowed it which was good. We booked this trip months in advance so they knew we were coming, it would have been nice if they mowed the site BEFORE we got there. The campground is outdated and the run down campers and trailer houses don’t add any We didn’t use the bathhouse or laundry so we cannot report about the condition but if it’s similar to the rest of the campground it probably could use some work too. The only positive about this campground was the nice staff. We would not stay here again.

So I didn't actually stay at the campground. My bridesmaids and I were going to go there for a weekend but we had some issues so we had to cancel. Their cancelation policy is up to 14 days- 25%. They were able to book one of the spots so I got 100% on one spot and 25% of the other.
The refund however is not the point of the comments.
Chris, who I presume to be the owner, was literally so nice about the whole thing. He took the time to explain everything to me and was patient about everything. I just wanted to say that I think he's great and I will 100% be staying here in the future!!

Steer clear of this business!!!!! They are absolutely horrible!!! Made reservations for a 50 Amp site and was paid in full by August. Spoke to the owner Chris on 8/23/23 who stated we secured the last 50 Amp site for our dates. Arrived on reserved date only to find that they had given us a 30 Amp site. Office was closed so I called their emergency number. Owner Dan arrived about 15 minutes later. He stated that they had our reservation for 30 Amps. I showed him my paperwork and he stated all 50 Amp sites were taken. I stated that it was their mistake and could they please accommodate us. He was very unprofessional and asked that we come to his office. He stated that we were overreacting. He was extremely passive/aggressive. At that point we asked for a refund. He turned his back on me and walked into his closed office. As we were leaving there was another RV couple who stated that their reservation wasn’t posted! Such a poor way of doing business!!! Called another nearby campground, Lone Pine Campsites, who easily accommodated us, we’re very professional and courteous!

I loved this little campground! It is pretty much right in town but you feel out in the country. The person who greeted me was so nice. (Even excused himself from checking me in to take a call from his grandma, "How sweet is that?") He took time with me to explain the area, and give me suggestions on things to do, where to eat, etc.
My campsite felt private because the brush between the campsites gives you privacy. It is an older establishment so kind of a 60 or 70's feel but clean and had nice bathrooms and showers. I felt vey safe at this campground.
I made my reservation online and arrived after hours but the guy came around and greeted me and showed me where my campsite was.

Our stay at Shelburne Campground was exactly what we needed. We reserved a site for one week in March - they are one of the only campgrounds open this early. Dan was committed to making our stay comfortable and enjoyable - he recommended hikes in the area and local brewpubs. We will definitely camp here the next time we are in Vermont. Jane and Paul S

Average is more than fair for this campground... the bathrooms are clean. That is the best thing I could say about it. They put us in a 'pit' knowing the forecast called for heavy rain. When we requested a different site, we were told the site doesn't get flooded (as if they can somehow defy gravity). Luckily, we were provided a new/better spot.
Unfortunately, the curfew is 9:00 PM and heavily enforced (quite lame). To set the stage, we are two 62 year old guys in town to see an outdoor concert and certainly not out to cause trouble. Around 10:00 PM, as we were talking and minding our own business, the campground 'enforcer' popped by the site to issue us a warning. The next day he came by again and attempted to antagonize us into an argument and eventual expulsion (it didn't work, we kept our cool).
Despite this young man's antics, we still had a good time and got on well with our neighbors. Fortunately, its often the 'less good' things that we remember, so at least we have that. In conclusion, I say thanks to the miserable, unfriendly enforcer dude for creating a bad/good memory we'll remember for years.

My friends and I were looking for a place to stay while fishing on Lake Champlain. I have a small teardrop camper, and they needed a motel. This place worked out perfect. The were able to get a two-room cabin, and my camping spot was basically attached to their backyard. The place was well maintained and the staff was very helpful. The pool, showers/bathroom were kept very clean. We were expecting the cabin to be run-down. But to our delight it was also very clean and well-maintained!
