This was a wonderful, simple place to stay, right near Camels Hump as well as Mad River Glen and all sorts of fun in Waitsfield. Alan was flexible, entertaining, and provided us with all sorts of advice and directions about the area. Rooms and shower were small, but everything was so clean and every detail provided. Breakfast was delicious and...

We had to make an unplanned stop at this bed and breakfast to tide us over during the storm. Alan was incredibly welcoming and warm. The place looks really cool with Vermont farm decore. Going forward this will be our place to stay whenever we visit Sugarbush.

My family and I have stayed at Quittner's many times and continue to love Alan's personal touch. He welcomes us as his special honored guests but also as family, making us feel welcome with special touches. His home-cooked breakfasts are especially popular with us, allowing us to begin our days with one less expense and concern to tend to. Everyone...

We rented one of the apartments with 2 BR and a bath. The apartment was only 4 miles from Mad River Glen, so it was one of the most economical ways we could stay near the mountain for a ski weekend. Nothing fancy, but everything was clean, and there was plenty of space, so it was perfect for our (large...

Alan was over-the-top helpful on the trip. My Prius wouldn't make it over the pass, so Alan drove over to get me on the other side of the hill. Completely and unexpectedly generous. The eggs were delicious and the company was even better. I'll go back every time I head up to VT.

Once ago we enjoyed another great ski trip up in Vermont. The skiing conditions at Mad River Glen was great with an the atmosphere unlike like any where else. Quittner's Starkview Lodge accommodations were excellent as usual. The lodge is immaculate with such a home feel to it. Alan's hospitality can't be beat. His home style breakfast and Joan's homemade...

Great Place. Great Atmosphere. Very comfortable. Really enjoyed our breakfasts with Allen (the proprietor) - he goes out of his way to make you what you want. Not only that, when we came back from a day of skiing there were snacks waiting for us: popcorn, chocolate pudding, etc. Really good price for what you get and close enough to...

Alan Quittner is a real gem. He goes out of his way to make you comfortable. My sister, my friend and I, stayed two nights at this B & B. My daughter was getting married at the Common Ground Center, near by. I needed to have some items delivered for the wedding, and Alan was kind enough to accept them...

Alan and his wife host a terrific bed and breakfast in the gorgeous mountains of Vermont. Highly recommend. Stayed there in winter and summer and it is perfect. Alan's sweet breakfast is great and they are very knowledgeable about things in the area. A++++
