For 35 years we have been coming to our guest house at Trapp and this year was another great one. We arrived a day early and stayed at the lodge, great decision. Although the snow this year on the mountain was good, there was no cross country except for the notch road. A magical lodge inn a magical place.

It is always a pleasure to read a review from one of our most loyal guests and how much they enjoyed their stay and love the lodge. How nice that you made it to Smugglers Notch road (closed to traffic in winter) to enjoy some cross country skiing; although our trails were closed due to lack of snow we are...

This is our second time going to Trapps for a family get away. We have been both in hiking season as well as ski season. The nordic lessons are awesome! We are skiers but sometime you just need a little more of a challenge or a skill builder. The breakfast buffet is amazing and highly recommend getting the Breakfast package...

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. We are delighted to have met and in some cases possibly exceeded your expectations. We are very fortunate to have an excellent crew of Cross Country ski instructors at our resort who enjoy enhancing the skills of our skiers. Thank you for your compliments of our breakfast...

I haven't been to the Trapp Family Lodge in years but my parents and I recently went around Christmas and we had the loveliest time. We went for a horse drawn sleigh ride, went cross country skiing and finished it up with a trip to their new beer garden for an apperitivo and pretzels. It was a great afternoon and...

We went as a family of 4 with an 11 and a 14 year old for 3 nights/4 days. The room size for 4 people was adequate and they provided a little mini fridge for no charge. The room and bathroom were all very clean. The beds were uncomfortable and in need of a new mattress, it took me a...

Went for a romantic and fun filled weekend. The room itself was overpriced. The shingles outside were in such poor shape that they were not only covered with moss and mold but falling off the building. Had made reservations to go rock climbing. Then when we got to the fitness center it took a while for them to find our...

Thank you for reviewing your stay with us. We sincerely apologize for the problem you encountered with an appointment to use the rock climbing wall. I spoke to our Fitness Center Manager who said the attendant should have arranged for another time for you to use the wall and he also apologizes and reassures you that he has spoken to...

Extremely overpriced for room with no refrigerator. Restaurant food overpriced. Wine tasting didn't even include any of their wine . Booked the rock climbing after they texted us a reminder we were told when we arrived that we weren't on their list. Wasted our time to be there only to be told sorry. No night life in Stowe spend you're...

Thank you for posting a review about your recent stay with us. While we do not have refrigerators in all our hotel rooms we do have a few units that can be put in a room on request; unfortunately we were unaware of your need for a refrigerator in your hotel room and would have gladly honored this request if...

I must agree with an earlier review. They charge extra for every activity that is offered and their extras are costly! If less people show to an activity they up the rate! We stayed for a week yet a tour of the property would have cost us an additional$50 go snow shoeing for an hour $30 per person.

The Trapp Family Lodge is a lovely hotel in Stowe. We liked that the hotel was decorated with real flowers and plants. The breakfast was really good but the formal dining in the hotel restaurant was really a bad experience. The portions were very small and very expensive. On top of it, I ordered lamb and the pieces were back...

If you love the mountains and especially if you xcountry ski this is a great place to get away. The rooms are spacious and comfy, the views are beautiful, and the skiing in and around the lodge is great. You can relax and do nothing, or ski, hike, snowshoe, spa, swim, or shop in town. There are numerous good restaurants...
