After welcoming check in we got a spacious room with a large bathroom. During the first night there was a grinding noise that came from outside of the room and kept ma awake most of the night. The morning after I got a new room immediately, with the expcted explanation there have not been complaints about that room before, so...

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night and it was really relaxing. The room was big, the bed and pillows were really comfortable, the staff were beyond accommodating and the outdoor pool is large and the gym is great. The only thing I would change was the cleanliness of the sauna, game room and bottom of the indoor pool....

We stayed in a comfortable room with a king bed and fireplace. It was nice, but needed updating. The upholstered furniture was faded and threadbare around the edges. The gardens in the front were very pretty but needed alot of attention on the parking lot side of the building. The staff was pleasant and the rates reasonable.

Have been to Stowe many times but this is the first time we stayed at Stoweflake. I cannot wait to go back. We found the place to be really terrific. Love the spa and the best kept secret of the very relaxing massaging waterfall! The place is really clean and comfortable and the staff so friendly. We stayed in a...

We had stated in Stowe before but stayed at Trapp. I was not expecting to like this place as much as I did especially based on trip advisor reviews I had read! We were quite please with our three bedroom townhouse! It was much more spacious than we had anticipated, very clean, and had all the comforts of home! We...

Dear Christine K, Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your time here. I’m glad you found Stoweflake accommodating, especially the townhouse. We find they really are a home away from home. I will check in with your mentions here about the locker rooms that were out of order so that we can further improve on your experience as well...

Ended up at the Stoweflake after booking a supposed 4 star on Hotwire. When we arrived it was desolate. Not a car in sight. Our reservation was messed up as they only had one room on file but we booked and paid for two. After waiting an incredibly long time it was finally resolved and we were off to our...

We arrived to Stowe at around 11PM on the Friday of our stay (We stayed Friday-Sunday of the first weekend in April). The front desk staff was not overly polite, nor was he rude, understandable for this time of the night, and we just wanted to get to our room anyway. After that experience, we didn't really have any issues...

I have been going to the Trapp family lodge over 20 times in the last 40 years. We decided to go here because of the great Spa we had heard about. The room was nice and good value - clean and fresh no smell. The attached restaurant was very good esp for the price. definate skier s atmosphere which is...

I recently spent 5 days at Stoweflake and a great deal of that time was in their spa. Every person I came into contact with on staff either at the spa or hotel, was friendly and sincere; not to mention terrific at what they do! My treatments (body wrap, facial, mani/pedi) were superb and I thoroughly enjoyed the Hungarian mineral...
