So here's the deal. 1. Good new mattress 2. fresh sheets 3. Good water pressure in shower. 4. Well lit They don't make the beds. The bathroom is clean but small and very basic. Rooms could use a little decoration. But again this is basic economy so don't expect much. Walls are thin but not overly so. Admittedly I have...

You pay for what you get at the northern lights, the rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is good but it would be good if they offered dinner and a bar for guests. The owners are very friendly, this could be a very good hotel if it offered a little more.

The staff was very friendly, and the facilities are wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the pool after long days skiing. If I am in the Stowe area again (which I probably will be!), I will happily stay here again.

Very affordable bed for my first visit to Stowe. Great location, full breakfast, nice pool and tub I didn't use, great location. A little dated, but, so am I. Clean. Very friendly host, ready to help me with a new place to ski.

We were a group of four guys on a hiking trip to Mount Mansfield. We rented a room with two double beds and on a per-person basis, the price offered good value. Breakfast buffet options were plentiful and varied - I especially liked the blueberry pancakes and the assortment of muffins. The major plus here is the availability of a...

The room was clean, the location great (a few miles to the trails), people who worked in the hotel were super friendly, the cookies and the hot apple cider in the afternoon-night were a great treat. Overall I would recommend this hotel, specially if you go to Stowe to ski, you can't go wrong with this hotel in terms of...

I loved the Northern Lights Lodge. We had a super comfy king room with plenty of space. There was also an inviting common area with coffee, hot cider and fresh cookies. Mike and Shannon were very helpful and offered advice regarding the local area and skiing. The breakfast was fantastic with hot buffet and more delicious home baking! There is...

I returned to this lodge for at least my 3rd Christmas and found it still a great value and a lovely place to stay. It is not fancy, but the rooms are clean and have everything you need. The breakfast is excellent (buffet style) and the location is close to the mountain. The inn keepers are helpful and eager to...

We had a great stay at northern lights lodge. Rooms were spacious with a beautiful view of the mountains. Minus 1 for the cobwebs. Apart from that all good. Awesome breakfast and of course great hosts. Do try the lemon muffins!

Older, but nicely kept lodge. Owners couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Clean comfortable bed and room. Nice breakfast selections, one of the best values in the area. Would definitely recommend and return. Short drive to downtown Stowe.
