March 2017 - We checked in late at night - the room stank, walls had large cracks, light shades were broken, simply horrible. Hardly slept - terrible mattress. Went to visitor center in the morning got a refund and vouchers for the two days of skiing we prepaid. Went back and stayed in studio condo directly across from the shops...

Rooms are of decent size, clean, many drawers and closets. Quite decent, if skiing is your main target here. But there is no noise isolation from the neighbors above, so if you are not planning to be the last to go to bed, ask for the top floor.

Booked this place because it was the cheapest option walkable to the base lifts. Read the reviews, which were mostly not good, and considered switching to one of the nicer lodging options. If I wasn't cost conscious (can you call $200/night cost conscious?) I'd have moved. The Good: cleaner than some reviews said; roomy; only about a 10 minute walk...

This is a standard run down dorm room type lodge with no frills. It seems to me once upon a time long ago this was a nice place. There is no front desk and there are many empty corridors with beat up furnishings, covered up old fireplaces, old carpet etc. That said it is the cheapest option to be walking...

If you want to explore the Stratton ski area or have a tight budget, or are not planning to spend a ton of time in the room but sleep -- it's, probably, the best option for you. The lodge is located 5-7 minutes walk to the resort village. 2 mins walk to the Black Bear Lodge, where you can use...

We stayed at Stratton Mountain resort, in Liftline Lodge, in June, 2016 as part of a group vacation. COULD NOT HAVE BEEN WORSE. If you expect an actual hotel room, you will be _sorely_ disappointed!! First room we were given: broken window latches, broken screens, NO air conditioning... we went back to the desk (in another building, of course). "Sorry,...

We arrived at the Liftline Lodge to find our room smelly and stuffy. Neither window had working mechanisms. We complained and were moved to another room which was worse. One window had no mechanism, and the other didn't work. Rusty ceiling lights, exposed wiring, disgusting rug, moldy ceilings, soiled and spotty bedding.A college dorm would have been better. I see...

I booked the Liftline lodge through Expedia primarily since they accept dogs. The room was awful. Rug was threadbare and ripped, mold on the bathroom ceiling, Window opening mechanism was broken and missing handle, window screens missing and door hardware was not secure. Please see photos attached. I would not recommend staying at ANY Stratton property - they do not...

After reading reviews, we had low expectations for the Lifeline Lodge. Our goal was a place to stay after skiing all day at Stratton. It is a a two minute walk to the Black Bear Lodge to check in. Megan was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the lodge and entire complex. She made checking in an easy and pleasant experience....

When I found a hotel 100yds from the slopes in Stratton, I thought it must be too good to be true. It kind of was. Pros: Cheap. Rates rival what you would find on the side of the interstate. Close to slopes. (Easy walk to Tamarack lift in ski boots. Village/ticket window is doable, but long. Get tickets the day...
