The Applebutter is like staying with with your favourite Aunt and Uncle - who happen to be really good cooks, and have a fabulous house with cozy comfortable rooms in beautiful Woodstock. We would recommend it without hesitation. My wife an I arranged our 10 day New England trip completely via the web from the UK, and we just knew...

The Applebutter Inn is a charming getaway. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The Innkeepers were welcoming and hospitable, and at the same time gave us our privacy. We have stayed in the area before, but choosing the Applebutter Inn pleasantly added warmth, charm, and relaxation to our previous Vermont trips. It's in a great location which...

My friends and I have been staying at the Applebutter Inn once a year for several years, and it keeps getting better and better. The Inn is lovely and very cozy. Ihe Innkeepers (Barbara and Michael) make you feel like family. The breakfasts are to die for. I am already looking forward to next year.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a two night stay at the Applebutter Inn. I highly recommend staying there if you are visiting the Woodstock ,VT area. The inn is extremely clean, the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The king size bed in our room was very comfortable. The breakfast that we were served was better than most fine...

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Applebutter Inn very much. Barbara and Michael are wonderful innkeepers. The breakfasts were fantastic and the towels were incredible! All in in all - a very comfortable and inviting place to stay.

What a wonderful experience for my family of four. We shared the Cameo suite, which Michael and Barbara thoughtfully supplied with a portable crib and fold out twin bed for my little ones. The room was spacious enough to comfortably accomodate this, the king sized bed, us and all our stuff. The breakfasts were delicious and capitalized on the local...

I stayed in the Baldwin room for two nights. It was like I was in a cocoon, and I mean that in the most positive way. I was taking a class at nearby King Arthur Flour and between a day of baking and a night of work I actually got some sleep in a very comfortable bed and felt relaxed....

What a charming and quaint B&B! We arrived early on a crisp cold evening, and was welcomed with tea and biscuits (not cookies!). The hosts are quiet but very sweet and we were left to our own devices much of the time. Breakfast was lovely, as was the room, although the bed a bit squeaky. No problem really. They had...

This B&B is 200 feet from the historic and charming Taftsville Country Store (cheese and wines galore) and 200 more feet from the Taftsvalle Covered Bridge, dam, and river walk. We stayed for four days in the Cameo Room Downstairs, large private bath, storage everywhere, gas fireplace, TV, and excessively comfortable bed. The hosts are utterly charming, helpful, intelligent, witty,...
