We happened upon this B&B more by chance than good planning. We had intended staying in Burlington but unable to arrange any last minute Saturday night accommodation elected to look a little further away in a more rural setting. What a pleasant surprise Waitsfield ended up being and especially Lareau Farm Inn. The house is 19 century and has the...

We had our daughter's wedding here this fall and it couldn't have been more perfect. Lisabeth was wonderful to work with. The food, the inn, the rooms, the bonfire and s'mores were all wonderful. Rooms were clean and welcoming. Staff was delightful. The setting was stunning. The children had a blast (there were toys, blocks, dolls etc. in one of...

This is the real deal and then some! Just off the road, but once you pull in, you are pulled into the welcoming energy of Lisabeth's world and the rest of the world fades away. I was part of a wonderful family wedding at Lareau Farm the second weekend in August. Perfect perfect perfect. Lisabeth's food was wonderful, staff were...

We got married this past week at the lareau farm inn and it was nothing short of spectacular. Lisabeth and her staff were so welcoming, they made us feel like the inn was our home. We are still dreaming of the breakfasts, yummy and fresh. The back porch may be the most relaxing spot I've ever spent my mornings. The...

Lareau Farms is a B&B that has it all. It has comfortable and eclectic accommodations, the best food in the valley, and room to relax or play. The front and back porches provide hours of socializing, reading and rocking. The large back yard was available to everyone wanting to play games, volleyball, frisbee, or sitting by the fire pits after...

My niece booked the inn for her wedding, and our extended family stayed here for a weekend. The staff are responsive and friendly and appropriately low-key. The grounds are delightful, with easy access to a swimming hole and some fine trails for hiking and biking. The restaurant at the inn, Flatbread, is wonderful. The breakfasts inside the inn were extraordinary!...

It is 100% traditional Vermont with a wood burning stove, snowshoe trails, farmhouse decor and proximity to Sugarbush and the town of Waitsfield. We enjoyed multiple visits in the winter of 2013 and 2014 and every visit was better...

The new innkeeper is creating a hip yet homey atmosphere, drawing from a precious New England world that is rare to find any more. Felt well taken care of on all levels. Loved the river and trails too.

“We stayed in Remembrance, which was quite small with a shared hall bathroom. It was adequate for a night's stay at the last minute, but for a few more dollars, we'd opt for the Respect room, which was right next door, much bigger and had it's own bathroom, if we were to stay again.”
