Just returned to PA from five days at the Waitsfield Inn in Vermont. It was the best vacation experience I've ever had, The room was perfect, but what sets the Inn apart are the owners, Vicki and Jon. Jon is a world class chef, whose attention to detail, particularly with regard to spices (many of them grown in Jon's herb... More

We spent 3 days at the inn with a group of friends. The innkeepers Tom and Vickie went out of their way to make sure we all had a pleasant stay. We had a fantastic group dinner prepared by Tom which was delicious. The breakfast fare was different every morning and each was very tasty. The room was small but... More

We recently returned from four nights at the Waitsfield Inn. We were part of a group of 20, including 8 couples, all friends from college 40 years ago. Vicki and Jon, the innkeepers, couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating. The breakfasts (a different menu each morning) were delicious. The dinner we had arranged there was outstanding. The inn itself... More

My husband and I spent four nights at the Waitsfield Inn with a group of college friends. (We're all in our mid-60's!) Vicki and Jon treated us like family, instantly accommodated every need, and offered so many helpful suggestions for activities and restaurants. The Inn itself is historic and wonderfully charming. We especially enjoyed the outside seating area with our... More

I recently stayed at the Waitsfield Inn with my boyfriend on our way through backpacking the Long Trail. We were both very pleasantly surprised with how at home we felt while staying here. We were offered a room, free breakfast, water bottles, laundry done for free, a ride to the trailhead, and even an invitation to dinner with the host's... More

If you are traveling to the Mad River Valley, you really should stay here. Vicki and Jon are extremely gracious and accommodating hosts and some of the nicest folks you will ever meet. The meals are outstanding, the rooms quaint and comfortable, and the Inn is filled with Colonial history. A quiet and relaxing stay in the middle of the... More

Downstairs reading room, living room and dining area are comfortable. I liked the history of the people who lived here in the 19 th century. Bed was comfortable, quick hot water, not a lot of space in the room. Friendly staff. Coffee was good quality and the blueberry waffles with fresh berries and grapefruit delicious.

A group of us stayed in this lovely historic inn. The owners were gracious and so accommodating. The building was amazing and the history behind it was interesting. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. We all enjoyed our stay at The Waitsfield Inn and would definitely stay there again.

Vicki and Jon are great host providing service above and beyond what is expected. The breakfast was outstanding on Monday morning eggs, sausage, and parfait. They even provided a breakfast on Sunday morning before normal breakfast hour to the runners preparing to run the Mad Marathon. They provided a pasta dinner the evening before the marathon that was super.

My family stayed here for a two-night ski vacation. The Inn is beautiful, comfortable and in a great location. We loved hanging out in the common room in the evening, playing games or reading in front of the fire. The rooms are well done and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding and it was nice to come "home"... More
