We spent a weekend in Sept at the Waitsfield Inn. The owners were friendly and personable. The breakfasts were great and well thought out. The place is clean and nice!

My family stayed here for a wedding and were blown away with the hospitality of John and Vicki. It was if you were visiting your relatives home. We wish we could have stayed longer but the 48 hours we did spend there were fabulous. We'll be back. P.S. For those of you who can't leave your laptop and work at...

My family lives near the Waitsfield Inn, and was displaced by Hurricane Irene. The wonderful owners donated a room to us for a week while we cleaned up our house. It was so delightful to come back to this cozy, quaint inn every evening after cleaning mud out of our home all day. The Inn is so comfortable that it...

I've been to many 5-star resorts and charming B&Bs, but never have I been so well cared for! My son's and my 3 1/2 hour drive from Maine to Vermont lasted more than 6, due to Hurricane Irene-induce washed out roads and numerous detours on a very dark, drizzly, desolate, frightening, late night. We didn't see a car, a sign...

They were so hospitable, accommadating and went out of their way to make everyone comfortable and feel safe. We thank them for making this expereince so memorable. It was an island of pleasure during this miserable and...

We were up in Waitsfield for a wedding and got stuck in Hurricane Irene. The Waitsfield Inn welcomed us with open arms and even prepared a delicious dinner using vegetables from their own garden though they do not usually make dinner. They have an excellent and diverse library of books and movies as well as games. The old time candy...

The Waitsfield Inn was literally our "shelter from the storm" for both my family and our family friends this past weekend. When the roads closed due to Hurricane Irene, a number of us were left stranded without a place to stay. The Inn's hosts, Jon and Vickie Walluck, welcomed us with open arms and made our large group feel right...

I was in town for a wedding, and I came to Waitsfield Inn not expecting more than a place to lay my head in between wedding festivities. Vickie and Jon are super welcoming and helpful. The Inn itself was clean, warm, inviting, full of books, comfy couches, super soft beds, and a lovely outdoor space to sit during the warm...

This warm, welcoming place run by two truely kind and friendly people made us feel so at home we rearanged the trip to include an additional day at the Inn.
