We attended the murder mystery at this Lodge...it was delightful experience, the staff were pleasant and accommodation were suitable for the area. Beds were a little stiff and not good for the back. All in all a wonderful time was had by all.

We had a wonderful stay here on route to Stowe. Unfortunately there wasn't much snow fall this year so we took the opportunity to explore the area. Caroline's knowledge of Vermont was very helpful and she was happy to help with directions. Our room was warm and cosy with a very comfortable double bed and beautiful views of the woodland...

Very comfortable lodge with friendly accomodating staff. It is located close to many ski resorts, and easy to find. Nestled in the woods and complemented by the decor, this hidden treasure was just perfect for our trail-tired crew. The kids even had BUNK BEDS! Great breakfast offering with endless coffee, and ambiance. I highly recommend giving their lodge a try!

Great place, great location & great hosts! This is a modest, but clean lodge. It is somewhat dated, but it is clean and the surroundings are lovely. I will be back an recommend it to all. Thanks to Steve & Caroline!

We stayed in a room with a queen and a bunk bed with our too young sons. While the accommodation is modest, the rooms are immaculate and comfortable. The full English style breakfast was first class. The location is incredibly convenient being one minute from Mt. Snow.

I will always be honest when I write a review.... Let's start with the room... 1970 style with a 1970's bed and high class resort price...$200 a night!... Room was clean but very outdated... Please accordingly...

Caroline and Steve are great hosts at this quaint inn. We stayed in Room 19 with a king size bed, and private bathroom. My husband of course loved the new television. This is not the Hilton, but if you are looking for a great place to stay during ski season, summer or fall; this is a great option. The Murder...

Went to a mystery weekend with a friend and stayed at Big Bears Lodge, a wonderful weekend had by all. The lodge was very clean, with comfortable beds. The staff was wonderful. Full breakfast in AM, coffee was great. The mountains of Vermont of were beautiful this time of year.

Took a ride up north to "leaf peep" this past weekend and stayed at Big Bear for a second time. Steve and Caroline make the stay comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable each and every time. Breakfast was top notch and the little ones were in Heaven with the chocolate chip pancakes. The hotel feels more like a home and for this...

A nice, clean, comfortable place to stay. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Breakfasts were very sufficient with a home-cooked style. The one big complaint, however, is that the musty odor throughout the place should be attended to.
