Basic accommodations priced at a bargain. Isolated and quiet. Owners really nice and accommodating. No cell service anywhere in the valley (including at Vermont Country Store) because NIMBYs in Ludlow wouldn't allow the necessary relay tower.

We had rooms here for the middle of the night while skiing and partying at Okemo. Very clean, very affordable. Nice towels and sheets. New carpets…minimalist but comfortable. (walls are very thin….deal with it for the price).

My friend and I got stuck in a snowstorm and had to back track to find the closest place to wait out the storm for the night. We were so lucky to have found a nice place with great hosts! Lisa and Bob took care of us right away, and even though the lounge/restaurant was closed they made us dinner...

My wife and I and my 92 year old mother had a lovely three day escape from the rat race. The foliage was spectacular and the surprised Fall snow was a delight. The hosts made sure we had a nice experience. Be sure to eat at their restaurant on a Friday or Saturday night. The hosts are superb chefs. Very...

It is a very cozy and warm atmosphere. When we stay there, we never think of eating anywhere else. The food is delicious (and plenty of it). We have...

We booked here due to the price that was half as much as at the mountain as well as the positive reviews on trip advisor. Only 15 minutes from the mountain. Great breakfast and a nice atmosphere. If you are looking for a ski trip on a budget, this is your place!

This is at least the fourth time i've stayed here since it was purchased by new owners six years ago. The previous owner (it used to be known as the Friendly Acres motel) had let it get pretty seedy but it has undergone a major restoration. Every time we visit, there is another improvement. The ten guest rooms are -...

They have comfortable rooms, tasty home cooked breakfast and supper in the Moose Lounge. Enjoyed the country setting and there's many attractions within a short distance.
