This place was that it was not your typical motel where the curtains matched the bedspreads. It was definitely different. Some stuff didn’t make a lot of sense to me based on other motels. The biggest one being there was a round table between the two beds, which I bumped into getting up for the bathroom in the middle of the night. The very kind hostess explained it was there so people didn’t have to eat in bed. There were a few other items that left me scratching my head, like the hanging candle holders without candles; the metal Kleenex dispenser without Kleenex (which was on the bedside table) and the towel rack in the bathroom with... you guessed it, no towels. They did have them, just not on that rack. The best part of this place was the little breakfast room on the second floor. It was, again, a mix match of decorations. But, you got to sit in this room and chat with a bunch of other skiers, and owners of the lodge were always there to greet you. Breakfast consisted of: cereal, bagels, waffles, hard boiled eggs, English muffins with juice and coffee. So yes, this place is decorated differently, but it’s still the best price in town. The slopes and good restaurants were minutes away.

A Motel that surprisingly lacks the weaknesses of a "Motel". A great place for the families. 2 Ski mountains with in 10 min drive and Direct VAST Trail access for the snow-mobilers. I love the place and have been visiting for years now.

The Vintage Inn is clean, tidy, friendly and cheap. It's not fashionable, it's not luxurious and it's not modern, but for these prices could you ask for that? I stayed on a skiing trip and it was everything I needed. It was close enough to Mount Snow for boarding and Wilmington has some good places to eat and drink. If I went back to Mount Snow I would stay here again.

My fiancé booked a room for us in June. We won't be going because I called today with a question and the owner picked up. She immediately was rude saying booking.com gave us too low a rate for our room and she would not honor it. I told her I would have my fiancé call her about the higher rate she quoted me. 15 minutes later she canceled our reservation (the only room left for our weekend) and gave it to another customer before my fiancé even called back. This is no way to run a business.

I did not get a good feeling when speaking to the owners but made a reservation for a ski weekend anyway. When I was able to get a reservation at another hotel I cancelled this reservation within the time frame to get a full refund. The Vintage charged my credit card and did not give me a refund after the cancellation. When I tried to dispute this with The Vintage Hotel they were very abusive and refused to give me a credit/refund. Do NOT stay here. They are not worth it and it could cost you more money in the long run.

Room Tip: Do not stay here. Listen to the other travelers with negative comments. The owners are sketchy.

I'm sorry, I wish you called and actually cancelled your reservation. You were a no show and now are claiming a refund almost a year later!? The way it works is that if you don't cancel and are a no show you still have to pay.

Starting with the positives: lots of vacancy, good TV DISH channels, HOT water, beds were comfortable and clean. Negatives: shabby, poorly maintained exterior; dark, dank, smelly, shabby interior; no dead-bolt on door; lavatory is in bedroom and is corroded/rusty; toilet seat old and stained; paint/wallpaper chipped and peeling; holes in bathroom walls; ceiling stained from leaks; parts of ceiling re-attached by staples & nails; layers of dust on lampshades; splatters of something on lamp bases; heavy perfumed smell fails to cover up rank smells; mold in ice buckets. No ice machine or coffee in room - must call innkeepers to get those items. Innkeepers are very polite but seem to be in denial of conditions, even when pointed out. BEWARE, there is 7-day cancellation policy that is enforced! There appear to be better places to stay closer to the town of Wilmington. Run from this worn-out '60's "vintage" motel, as fast as you can!

I have stayed here with my parents and younger brother every weekend for the past two winter seasons. The owners are like family at this point, and I mean the kind of family you seek out at reunions. They are the nicest people I've met and considering the great state of Vermont is full of nice people, that's saying something. Every room has a different "theme" - they are all unique. The TV has a full range of channels including HD channels. Being so close to Mount Snow, I truly appreciate that the downstairs rooms are directly in front of the parking. I can drive here from the slopes, park, and walk 10 steps from the car to be in my room. The walls are thick enough that if the people in the next room are having a rave, I can't hear it. My favorite part has got to be the breakfast, though. Saturday and Sunday mornings there are all the things I would find in my own fridge available to eat. The maple donuts they have are totally awesome when you put them in the microwave, a life hack shared with me by the owners. In addition to being complimentary, the breakfast is in a room that feels like my own dining room - cozy and comfortable. This place is called a motel, but the reality is, it's much more than that. It's an outlier. It is the definition of above and beyond. The room rates are very reasonable, especially when compared to the quality of your stay here. If you're looking for a place to stay that's close to the slopes, located in a quietly spectacular town (Wilmington is the physical manifestation of "charming:), and totally awesome, this is the place you've been looking for.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Vintage Motel in Wilmington, Vermont. Our room was clean & comfortable, of course, but beyond that, the interesting furnishings, pictures, and carpets gave it a very warm & pleasant ambiance. It didn't feel like the sterile rooms in major-chain motels; it felt like being a guest in the home of an interesting family. And it is an interesting family - Nisa & Riaz take a personal interest in the comfort of their guests, provide a good breakfast in very pleasant surroundings, and are enjoyable to visit with - we sensed that the other guests enjoyed those things too. We wish we could have stayed there longer; we'll definitely seek out the Vintage for a repeat visit the next time we're anywhere near Wilmington!

We were at Vintage Motel during the Columbus Day holiday. The place was full, but we still got a lot of attention from the owner couple. It felt like home. The place was nice, warm and clean, and great hospitality from the owners. Would love to go back again!

We are looking to spend more time at Mount Snow, Vermont in summer/winter and after some googling and review reading decided on this place. We weren't disappointed. It’s a very cute place set back from the street with easy parking. It was our anniversary weekend and the owners put us up in the room with the whirlpool jetted tub at no extra charge. Very nice and clean room. Breakfast upstairs was more than adequate. Even on check out day we missed the "window" for breakfast and the owners told us to still come upstairs and eat. They also came to talk to us each morning, what nice people. It’s not the Hilton but when we are looking for a convenient place to where we bike/ski we aren't looking for a Hilton. When we come to the area we look for a place that's conveniently located, clean, decently priced, nice with quiet rooms and nice staff and has a home type feel to it. The Vintage Motel fits that bill. Looking forward to staying here when we mountain bike at mount snow in the summer and ski in the winter. It's also down the street from downtown Wilmington which has several restaurants/bars that are excellent. I feel like we have found our place.
