We stopped four breakfast and super. Friendly staff and great food. You can eat and look out at the ocean. The food was served quickly and rated great both stops. The salt fish and fry bread hit the spot.

Hi Tony, Thanks for leaving this feedback, unfortunately I think you've got the wrong listing, we are a good four hours from the ocean. The place you're talking about sounds great though, I love salt fish! Regards, Shelley from The Nutmeg in Vermont.

We booked almost the entire inn (13 out of 14 rooms) for a weekend conference. All participants were very happy, not a single complaint. Many commented on the quality of hospitality and food. One wrote: “I left breakfast with a smile every day.”

Incredible. Wonderful welcoming owners. The bed, which is very important to me, was so comfortable and the central air-conditioning only added to the experience. The room was clean and the antique-decor pleasing to the eye. The bathroom was large and easy to move around in. And the food - unbelievable. The last time I had food this good, was in...

We have been at The Nutmeg for 2 glorious weeks. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The service is really great and the food at the Fireside is simply amazing especially the chick pea dish...omg... It's delicious. I also love that they are child friendly and that they have Harvey the rabbit in the garden. Shelley and...

While driving from Ohio to Maine and needing a place to stay we stumbled upon Wilmington VT and decided to see if there were any rooms available. Fate must have led us to the nutmeg. The food was wonderful and our 10 year old made a decision about what she will order the next time we come! This place has...

The truly distinctive thing about the Nutmeg is the food. The choices for breakfast were terrific -- amazingly, the fruit, granola and yogurt were outstanding; but the egg dishes were terrific and the French toast truly delicious. Dinner was even better. Served as small dishes, the tapas-style meal (served to us outside on a lovely evening) was spectacular, with each...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Nutmeg. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful with our quest for things in the area. It was nice to have a private bath. Breakfast was great. We will be sure to return in the future, hopefully on the weekend to experience their on site restaurant.

The Nutmeg was very nice. The folks that run the Inn were friendly and extremely helpful in answering any questions about the area. Our breakfast was awesome. The room we stayed in was large, comfortable, and clean and had its own shower/bathroom. We definitely plan to visit again in the fall.

This place has an old, quaint, modest sensibility. Built in the late 1700s, it feels like an old house that was added onto in a higgedly-piggedly fashion. Some will find it charming and quaint, some a bit tired and cramped feeling. The AC was not working in the room but we were quickly switched to another room where it did....

Located in a good location, the oldest room in this B&B dates from 1977. The current owners are updating the property and have some very comfortable public spaces and a good breakfast. We enjoyed our visit and enjoyed meeting the owners' son, Harry (now 1-1/2). They also serve dinner some days during the week, for a fee of course. The...
