The inn is beautiful and the grounds are breathtaking. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We were greeted with a snack tray and glass of wine, upon our arrival, which was very nice. The rooms are all well appointed and clean. If you are looking for more space, be sure to book a suite as the standard guest rooms...

We booked the Byrd's Nest cottage to get away from all the election bullcrap and had a nice couple of days. The property was very quiet, except for the occasional train at 3 am, but there isn't much you can do about that other than roll over and go back to sleep. The cottage has a nice fireplace, and a...

Not only do we appreciate that you "elected" to stay with us, but thank you...

A group of friends arranged for a private tea at Rosemont and we were thrilled. Private teas can be arranged for 10 or more guests. We began with a tour of this beautiful 200 year old home with history given by the owner. He was humorous as well as informed. The chef was then introduced to us and explained her...

Although I was unable to book due to a management mishap and was initially quite frustrated, the owner of the Rosemont Manor made a point to call me personally and apologize. That says quite a bit about the kind of people doing business there, and meant a lot to a frustrated bride. Despite the reservation error, this kind of personalized...

So, my review is rather late. I stayed there in July, but I went back again three weeks later (Aug. 2016) with my family. That's how much I enjoyed my stay last time. Rosemont Manor is the ideal getaway for those who seek simplicity, quiet, and comfort. The place is absolutely gorgeous! I kid you not. It is breathtaking. The...

Rosemont Manor is a beautiful historic house. The staff is very attentive. August served us and he was charming, helpful and friendly. There wasn't a lot of food, but it was very tasty and wonderfully presented. After tea we were invited to look through all the unoccupied guest rooms. Each one is beautiful, homey and comfy. A great experience.

We went for the tea. Truly lovely historic setting, well decorated. The teas were 'home-made' and delicious, the tea food was delicious too. There were three servings of different sweets and savory's and three teas to match A lovely place.

If you love history, or want a quiet, romantic weekend, this is the place for you. It is about an hour to an hour and a half from Washington; perfect for a weekend escape. The setting of the house is amazing, and the inside is well-maintained. Each room is unique, and tastefully decorated around one of the famous guests who...

This place was gorgeous and relaxing. With beautiful spacious grounds for walking, a fountain to relax by, and well-appointed lounging areas inside, it was a guaranteed stress release for my wife and I. The staff were incredibly friendly. The historic nature of the rooms made it feel like you were in another time, yet without sacrificing the modern amenities we...
