This is a wonderful place to camp. It is situated on the Virginia Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay. We especially enjoy Halloween weekends. There are many fun activities available. Check out their website and Facebook page.

You should bring your bikes as this campground is big. If you don't feel like hauling your bikes, they do have bikes to rent on property.

We also swam in the bay, but as others described there are lots of shells in the first several feet. i did end up taking mine off, and was fine. My brother didn't wear his water shoes and did get 1 cut on his foot.

we were there at the end of May. not really troubled by bugs of any kind. but you are near moving water & that helps. we live in a mountain area & am quite familiar with bugs....hate them....ha. seriously not much of a... More
