Pine Grove campground does massive open burning of materials around the clock and for many days. The thick acrid smoke irritated my eyes and lungs. This campground is a NUISANCE and threatens people's health. I am not opposed to small campfires during reasonable hours with clean dry firewood which minimizes the amount of smoke to nearby neighbors.eatwell

We rented one of the cottages for the week of the pony crossing. The house had plenty of space. Greatly enjoyed the sunrise from the deck each morning. We brought our own kayaks and were out in the bay for hours each day. A bit difficult getting in and out of kayaks due to the planks on the bulkhead being...

We have stayed here before, but this time above and beyond! Called another camp ground to try something different, but were told we had to download an application and mail then they would notify us. If you have 900 spots and need for us to send an app 1st, a deposit and don't take credit cards in late September moving...

We stayed at the Bethany cottage and it was disappointing. The living room when you walk in is cute and nice but small. The sliding glass doors didn't have screens and the flies and mosquitoes are bad so we had to keep them closed but the gas seal has gone out of them and the view they show is very...

Went with a pop up camper and really enjoyed ourselves. It's not the newest, but it is clean and not crowded. Nice amount of space between campsites. The bath houses were clean and adequately appointed. Nice and quiet. The Ritz it's not, but very tranquil and more than adequate.

Maybe I am spoiled by the campgrounds we have chosen but this campground was, well, rustic. There were very few campers, no great views in any direction. Our septic hook up had been previously run over by someone and we aren't able to drain until we left and drive into another empty site. Now for the waterfowl park.... I was...

We had a great experience at pine Grove, we had a party of 11. Which contains 2 families, 4 parents, 6 kids ranging from age 3 to 11 and 1 grandma. We rented two lots, one for an RV and one for a tent. The campground is very clean and quiet, the kids had a blast roaming around and looking...

Great campsite, peaceful, very accommodating to my three dogs, not too crowded. My site looked out onto their animal sanctuary at the back of the campsite, birds, Llamas and ponies.Only drawback was no WIFI at site, it is only available at the office.

We love Chincoteague island & decided to stop in on our way to Sandbridge Beach all the hotel/motels we inquired about wanted a 2 night minimum. We stopped at Pine Grove and were greeted with smiles & friendly faces. They were happy to let us stay the night! The rooms very very clean the beds comfortable and the price perfect!...

We have been camping here for the last 22 years. Wanda and Don are wonderful owners. There is a nice mix of permanent, rv and tent sites. The campground is clean and quiet. We have camped here in June, July and August over the years and the mosquitos have not been bad, but yes there are some. They do spray...
