If you're a nature lover, you must visit Chincoteague Island, the home of the wild ponies of Chincoteague, and stay at Cedar Gables Seaside Inn. This is the most unique bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. We stayed at the top of the house in the Captain's Quarter, a beautiful space with a deck overlooking the wildlife refuge....

My husband and I are driving hone as I write this. We stayed in the Oriental Suite. It was beautifully decorated, spacious, and so comfortable! The back deck led to the private dock. The views were lovely! The whole atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was amazing! The innkeeper was very helpful, pointing out great places to visit and eat....

We just spent a blissful September weekend at Cedar Gables--second time we have stayed at this place--and it was just as wonderful as we had remembered it from four years ago. We stayed in the oriental suite both times. The furnishings in the suite are of the highest quality and the view from the deck amazing. I really can't say...

We stayed 2 nights at Cedar Inn at the beginning of September. The Inn itself is situated right on the sound with amazing views and a dock to relax on. Its location is central to all of the island activities including the Island Creamery and various restaurants. The room (we stayed in Lori's) is very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom...

I'm nearing the end of a delightful, almost 1-year stay at Cedar Gables. I'm on business travel for NASA on Wallops Island, making this the ideal place to stay. I have co-workers staying in almost every other place on the island, and we all agree that Cedar Gables is the most luxurious! The rooms - lovely & unique. I've stayed...

We recently spent several nights at Cedar Gables. The room was well very roomy and comfortable for my wife and our 18 year old daughter. The room was clean and gave three people plenty of space ( we stayed in Lori's Room) The bathroom was also clean and had jacuzzi bathtub that a human could take a bath in, not...

My friend and I had a delightful stay at the Cedar Gables Seaside Inn last week. In a quiet, beautiful setting overlooking the wetlands, this classy inn has it all: location; sophisticated, comfortable rooms; excellent breakfasts; helpful, friendly hosts. We were especially impressed with the attention to detail: our room, the Oriental Suite, had not only comfy reading chairs, but...

The house is located near the main strip but far enough from the activity of the beach town. The room was spacious with charming decor. It felt as if the entire house was ours, though they were fully booked- we never saw another couple except at breakfast. Kitty, the manager has great local recommendations. The dock, pool, & hot tub...

The location of the Inn is perfect if you like quiet and waterfront. It is only a short ride to town or to the wildlife refuge. Close enough but miles away in peacefulness. Our room was large with a spa tub and shower. The bed was comfy and we had a deck that faced the water of the bay. They...

We stayed at the cedar gables mid week for one night while briefly visiting Chincoteague. The welcome was not as warm as most of the other b and bs we have stayed at. But, the captains quarters was the prettiest room with the greatest views of any place we know. The turret was incredible to watch the severe thunderstorm at...
