After the glowing reviews we were disappointed with the Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm: Pros: Remote location far from everything, comfortable bed We booked this because we couldn't find anything in Charlottesville when visiting our son who is a student at UVA. Cons: Remote locations far from everything, a bit too rustic, very slow internet, grounds unkempt and need attention...

Well designed inn built for B&B with well appointed rooms (we took a peak at open rooms awaiting guest arrival), secluded spot off main road, yet close to wineries, brewery, cider/orchard, nearby towns and 20-25 min from Charlottesville. Very good country breakfast buffet each morning with lovely seating in bright dining areas (2 rooms) with views of mountains. They accommodate...

I am happy to echo all of the other reviews regarding the lovely and peaceful Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm. The room was more than comfortable (we stayed in the Hunt room), the grounds were spectacular, and the food was delicious. It's everything all the other glowing reviews say it is. It's a perfect place if you want a quiet...

It was a last minute idea to go away for the weekend, and we wanted to take our 4.5 mo. old puppy with us. I found The Inn at SHF on line and took a chance--although the high marks on Trip Advisor gave me confidence that I hadn't made a terrible decision. Although I've been a dog parent for my...

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm. The room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the proprietors, Tim and Dina are exceptionally nice! I would love to visit again in the fall season.

My fiance and I got engaged here! There was a beautiful view of the sunset from the balcony. We stayed in the Hunt Country Room which has a fireplace and overlooks the hollow. The inn keepers were very accommodating and their husky is a beautiful dog! They were great about suggesting places to go and knew about places with live...

It was a great B&B for our anniversary trip without having to go too far from Northern Virginia. The food for breakfast was delicious. It was a great variety for the two nights we stayed. The owners (Tim and Dina) were available if we needed anything, but were definitely hands off otherwise, which we liked. We stayed in the County...

My wife and I stayed here for our 42nd anniversary. A peaceful, idyllic place convenient for hiking and about 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville. Lots of vineyards nearby to visit. The views of the Blue Ridge are incredible. Nice innkeepers and a good breakfast. Highly recommended.

What a great place to sit back and relax. Tucked away on the side of a hill adjacent to Shenandoah National Park. Breakfast was an awesome way to start the day and chat with other couples. There are a few great places to eat nearby in Crozet and there are many wineries in the area. Tim and Dina have done...

Got up early each day and walked my dog up the Moorman River into the park before heading into Charlottesville for visiting presidential homes. Stayed in the farm house. Hosts minded our dog during the day. Idyllic. Good accommodations. Good food. We and the dog loved it. Note the trail up to the Application Trail in well marked pleasant hike....
