The Doctors' Inn is a charming bed and breakfast with historic appeal and charm but all the modern conveniences. In addition, bathrooms were large and everything everywhere was spotless. We loved the cozy, thick cotton bathrobes provided for guests. Breakfast was served in the elegant dining room and was delicious. Margo is a gracious hostess. She is concerned with people's privacy and comfort and makes every effort to ensure both. She also made checkout and check-in easy and efficient.
The Doctor’s Inn was a lovely and comfortable B&B in a pleasant setting. A short walk away from downtown Galax, this house was just what we wanted—convenient, warm and welcoming, reasonable and safe. We have not had a better breakfast at a B&B, and the company truly enriched our experience.
The Doctor’s Inn is a historic home that has been tastefully decorated with unique art and artifacts from around the world. Margo is a most gracious host and provides a delicious and varied breakfast. The inn is convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Bluegrass Music Center.
One our way north from Florida, we stayed one night at the Inn. We arrived early and were allowed to leave our car and we cycled the New River Trail, a very scenic ride and we were provided storage for our bikes in the garage. The entire house is decorated with interesting items from trips the previous owner had made, but the highlight was the complete breakfast. Coffee, breads, bacon and eggs. If you are looking for something special this is the place to go.
The Doctor’s Inn Virginia is a beautiful early 1900’s home in the quaint town of Galax. Proper decor and lovely parlors and dining room. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and elegant. Every modern convenience provided with a thoughtful eye to keeping with the architecture. Sweeping front porch with intimate group seatings. Breakfast is fantastic with a delicious varying menu of delightful homemade treats. My friends and I may make this an annual trip.
