Supposed to check in here for three nights. When we arrived we struggled to find a check in. Total construction area. No lobby, no amenities at all. Cheap price but not really ready for visitors in my opinion. They would be better off closing until the Doubletree completely renovated and takes over

Got our room through hotel.com. Husband and I had 2 grandkids with us. Didn't realize they were remodeling ( going to be a Doubletree). Needless to say, there is no breakfast available. They did have coffee and tea and a area called lobby. We had to make other plans for the ki needless to say, there was no breakfast available....

Let me start by saying I never write negative reviews, but feel the need to after my experience here. My boyfriend and I are JMU alumni and stayed here on 12/3/16 to see the football game. There is barely any signage and the hotel is rather difficult to find, but none of that bothered us because we knew they were...

I was trying to find a good rate at a decent hotel in the Harrisonburg area for a family wedding. However, it also happened to be Homecoming weekend, so most of the hotels were booked already. I booked through Hotwire (indicated 3-stars) and got the Hotel Harrisonburg. I immediately started to question my decision after I started reading the reviews....

Desiree (spelling and name may be off. The morning girl lol) is always a joy to talk to. I check in early morning here and to see her always with a smile ends up turning my horrible night into a great morning. Brittany is another one that provides great guest service. The staff I have dealt with is like talking...

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. This used to be a holiday Inn but is now called Hotel Harrisonburg. It is still being renovated but the rooms that are open are not very good. The issues started as soon as we went in. Went to check in and the guy at the desk seemed really confused....

This hotel is no longer a Holiday Inn. The signs have been removed and paper signs were on the door next to a demolition permit. The a/c was so loud and the fan kept going on and off all night. The wifi was so slow, my tablet kept lagging. I cannot recommend this hotel. I will say the young lady...

This hotel is a former Holiday Inn which is now independent. I am not sure why they lost their affiliation but it is likely secondary to the massive renovation this hotel requires. One whole section of the property is currently off limits to guests where all the rooms are currently being used for storage (the area pictured over the pool)...
