48 rooms, beautiful grounds, warm and well trained staff. Feels like staying at an old English Manor. Bikes available for touring around the property. Breakfast was excellent but plan on paying around $45-$50 for two.

An English manor is what Sir Bernard Ashley had in mind years ago when he converted the old mansion into a luxury property. He wanted guests to feel like they were staying at their great uncle's country mansion -- their great uncle may or may not be there, but he would leave his staff behind and they would take good...

We so enjoyed our stay at Keswick Hall. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with our own terrace. The room had very high ceilings, and was luxurious. The staff was very courteous; they were there to please and to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We had dinner outside at the main restaurant. One does need patience, this kitchen...

We have visited Keswick for years as our two children attended UVa. Every visit is extraordinary. The hotel and rooms are all luxurious, comfortable, and unique. The grounds beautiful and relaxing. But it is the staff that attend to every need as guests wander the hotel and grounds offering the only home in America that feels like an English House....

My stay lacked professional service at every turn. I saw the doorman but he only occasionally opened the door for me. I waited for 10 minutes for the breakfast hostess to arrive to seat me. Once seated I had impeccable service and a 5 star breakfast. The hotel is grand, clean and the grounds are worth the trip. The infinity...

My husband and I visited last week and added two more nights to our stay because we didn't want to leave. The estate is elegant, yet comfortable - and the staff make you feel right at home. Everyone is very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The pools are amazing, the landscaping phenomenal. And there's a myriad of activities for all -...

I'm going to give Keswick Hall a solid three stars. The service needs to be reviewed and revamped. There was not bellman to grab our luggage and the younger staff seems to be out of sync with quality service. In the bar area I watched as flies battled it out as if in a UFC title match. Issues like this...

Our sincere apologies to you for the disturbances that interfered with the enjoyment of your visit. We do have an adult-only pool where children under 18 are not allowed. In the areas where they are allowed, I assure you we will be more diligent in keeping them quiet. Also I expect our bellman was assisting another guest at that time...

My husband and I just spent 5 nights at this outstanding resort. This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. The service is exceptional, citrus flavored water, frozen grapes, cold wash cloths, and sun tan lotion are provided at the pool. Keswick Hall is a fantastic resort. The staff is obsessed with being professional and kind. My wife and I stayed here recently from Fri-Mon. We got to experience a lot of what the hall has to offer. Including longing at the infinity pool, archery, getting a couples massage at the spa, dining at all of the restaurants and we enjoyed...

How the Keswick ever got a five-star Forbes rating is a complete bewilderment. First time in our world travels of many years staying at fine hotels, we ever had to check out early and cut short our vacation. To begin, you start your check-in process with the "hotel game." Despite requesting a room without slanted walls or asystemical ceilings, the...
