... as the CT continues its excellence. This is my number one review site, because we stay here regularly when we visit our daughter and grand kids. It's a restored shoe factory overlooking the James River. The rooms are spotless and well appointed with each of its rooms doors adorned with a different type of show. The bathrooms... spacious. The...

On the riverfront in the historic section of Lynchburg, Craddock Terry lives up to its hype by blending modern luxury with its building's past. Built around 1900, this brick structure once housed the fifth largest shoe factory in the world during the height of American manufacturing dominance. The factory closed in the 1980s, but opened as a hotel 10 years...

This is a great hotel. Lots of style and very comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly and quick to resolve any issues that may arise. Stayed here two night. 1st night was in the William King suite. It was very spacious and very beautiful. Only downside is that it is right above one of the restaurants and thus a little...

I first visited Lynchburg in 1981, when I met my husband. Boy has it changed (for the better!) This hotel, one of the first renovated buildings on the river, is charming and a great place to stay. The dog, Buster Brown, is the best! I have read some of the reviews complaining about the train noise - honestly the only...

I like what they are trying to do here, And I admire the attempt. I mean, I really wanted to enjoy this venue. Loved the repurposed building and most of the amenities. BUT...I did not feel well rested. This hotel is located right beside the railroad, and trains come throughout the night... whistles blowing! Let's just say, I've had more...

Our first visit to Lynchburg and I found the CTH on TA. I like boutique hotels. We had one of the best stays ever for 3 days at the CTH. We could have stayed a month in the Southland Suite/101. Felt more like an apartment. So comfortable. So LARGE with a roomy living area completely separate from the king sized...

My recent stay was spectacular, as it always is. I stay at the Craddock Terry twice a year - and love it every time. Todd, Christin, and the staff could not be nicer and more eager to help. The facilities are spotless and beautiful. The food and beverage at Shoemakers restaurant is delicious. And Buster the lobby dog is the...

We recently stayed at this very nice hotel. At one time it was a shoe factory and has been redone into hotel suites. The room was very large and the bedding was extremely comfortable. All the staff were very helpful and personable. You will definitely know you are at the right place since there is a huge red shoe fixed...
