I wanted to treat my husband to a weekend to celebrate his 50th birthday.OMG this hotel is mind blowing. The building is simply beautiful, it use to be a shoe factory, so there are all these cute little shoes every where. There are shoes on the room doors, shoes embroidered bathrobes , and souvenir shoe embroidered hats and Polk shirts. Everything... More

I attended a wedding reception here and was impressed with the beauty of the hotel and event center and with the quality of the staff. The food was delicious and the reception room was elegantly decorated. I wish I had stayed in this amazing-looking hotel!

Booked 26 rooms for my company and wow what a nice suprise for everyone.. The experience from start to finish was fantastic and the best part was staying at this beautiful and unique property!! From the moment we arrived we were greeted and treated like royalty. Everyone working at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms, besides being... More

I travel across the country, and I refuse to stay or eat (or do business in general) with anything other than locally owned, American owned, family run establishments. Usually, that greatly limits my hotel stays, but this BLEW ME OUT OF THE WATER! Amazing building, history and staff. My room was great, and I LOVED having individual Keurigs in the... More

Absolutely one of the top hotels I have ever had the chance to experience. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Yes they have the trains coming by at odd hours but I would return again even with the trains. Also if you are going to be staying at the hotel definitely want to check out the restaurant Shoemakers.... More

My daughter and her fiancee' stopped by the Craddock Terry in December to look at and book a room for their wedding night because they had heard such wonderful things about the hotel. ONE MONTH before their wedding date and six months after the reservation was made, the hotel called to say that they no longer had their reservation and... More

What a great property and such a fun atmosphere. The service here was great. The most disappointing part for us is that we were here for less than 24 hours so we didn't really get to enjoy all the hotel had to offer. It was close to the river, so it was nice to take a walk down to the... More

We decided to stay here as a stopover on a road trip, and were interested in checking out Lynchburg. We had a fantastic stay. The entire hotel has a very unique and charming atmosphere, built in to two historic mills, and tastefully showcases the architectural features of the building from the lobby to each room. The maitre'd was very attentive... More

Quite randomly found this little gem of a hotel while on a recent road trip. They were busy and we only got our room because of a cancellation. But the guys at the front desk were warm, friendly and funny. They helped me find a parking space for our car and checked us in speedily. Really liked all the little... More

My husband and I just returned yesterday from a fantastic stay at The Craddock Terry Hotel. There is not enough space to tell you all the great things about this hotel. From the warm greeting in the lobby, to the offer of cupcakes and lemonade, to our spacious, clean and comfortable room, to the wonderful meal we ate at Waterstone... More
