Stayed there last Saturday night having travelled from Ireland. Dirty rooms, soiled cover on bed, filthy bathroomand faulty electrics. To cap it all, unfriendly non fluent English speaking staff. Should be closed down.Couldn't eat breakfast there. To our shock next morning we discovered a Travel Lodge was a two minute walk away!!!!...local council take note!

I stayed in this dog kennel about four years ago whilst bringing my daughter down to Kingston university. To this day I seriously question my mental state. Why did I not turn on my heels and leave. I expected a clean, basic guest house. The photos appeared to represent that. But do not be fooled people. This is a slum...

Stayed here last weekend after a trip to Epsom Derby. We arrived early and were allowed to check in - which was actually a relief after a 3 hour journey. The hotel is very basic, minimal decor and could do with a modern upgrade, in all areas. Our room was small, with a 3/4 bed and a single; cosy! The...

Booked two rooms but on arrival we were told only one room was available. The unhelpful staff tried telling us in broken English that we had only booked one room. After much deliberation they finally acknowledged their error without even offering an apology. Without any other options, two guests ended up sleeping on the floor in a small twin room....

It's not what you'd usually expect from a B and B, the first hurdle is the stairs you have to climb with luggage just to get to reception area, which is fine if you haven't got a huge case like mine. Luckily there were a few builder/contractors staying here so I had a helping hand. When I checked in I...

The accommodation we’ve been given this week is only for two nights but is the worst B&B I’ve ever stayed in.. cramped, dirty rooms (used contact lenses left on the shelf in the shower), showers that run cold and some pretty appalling beds, my room is worse than the two lads sharing and even has the fire alarm smashed off...

Where do I start, holes in the sheets, whole place badly needs repairs, flaking paint. The boiled eggs we had for breakfast were black and smelly when opened onto our toast. Obviously old eggs. Toilet seat was broken and tapped up. Floor in shower was peeling and moldy. Would never stay here again. Noisy as on Main Street. Cost was...

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Dirty, unhygienic and stank of cigarette smoke or worse. Poor value and we wondered what Kingston Council were doing to monitor the standards in their area. Tiny cramped single rooms presented as doubles.
