We had stayed several times before and liked it but were not enthralled this time. We declined the scheduled unit because it had too many stairs and my wife has a bad knee. We were given a smaller unit in the Woodstone section and were told it usually has an extra charge, but they'd waive it because of our trading...

We went to Massanutten Woodstone Resort and it was one of the best times we've ever had. Plent of things to do, but not so much that you were exhausted by the end of the week. It was perfect. Very clean. We like to cook most of our meals and enjoyed having access to the grill in one of our...

Because we enjoyed the water park and stables in the past, we decided to stay at the Mountain Hotel within the resort. Now we wish we had stayed at a hotel in Harrisonburg like our past trips. After working through a botched reservation and then having an additional wait due to fire alarm issues, we finally got to our rooms...

We stayed at an RCI timeshare with friends. It was the top floor on a street named Whistler. Two bedrooms, two baths. It was great. We faced the mtns off our screened porch. Eating at Romano's off the mountain was very good. We visited the Cavern at Luray, Skyline Drive, the Civil War Museum in New Market, JMU in (cute...

I must say, I am not impressed at all. The guy at check in told us we were staying in one of their newest hotels. When we got there, nothing was new at all. The hotel actually kinda smelled. There's a tiny TV and a mini fridge but no microwave. I can keep my food fresh, but I can't heat...

We are currently staying here.. It's 1:47 am.. We are in a lower unit and the people above us must like to walk around the unit to get exercise because we can hear every step they make... The walls are paper thin and the room shakes when they walk above us.. We have been here 3 days and we have...

We stayed at a Summit unit in December for a ski trip. Our 2 bedroom condo was clean and well appointed, but not real fancy. Keep in mind that this is a timeshare resort and they will offer you something to take a timeshare tour. We took the tour in return for free and discounted tickets to the resort. The...

We did and RCI exchange to here since we had never visited this side of the country. The place is gorgeous. We enjoyed the pool and steam room and took many walks. I so wanted to love this resort. We had a 2 bedroom at Woodstone. We requested a higher floor but received a bottom floor overlooking golf course. It...

The resort is large and spread out so you need a car. The units are roomy and we found it quiet. There are lots of activities, but almost all are fee based so bring plenty of extra cash. It is located in the heart of much Civil War history so if you are a history buff, do day trips. There...
