My husband recently stayed at the Woodberry Inn overnight. We were driving the length of the Blue Ridge Parkway, North to South. The inn is right off the parkway... less than 2/10ths of a mile. Perfect for us as we had lingered at Peaks of Otter hiking to the top of Sharp Top Mountain!! Our room overlooked the pond ,...

Shep and Angie run a 5 star Inn right off the Blue Ridge Parkway not far from Meadows of Dan, Virginia. Great eats, comfortable atmosphere, nice pub and restaurant, and pet friendly. Motorcyclists very welcome. Nice pond on the property with a well lit trail around it. VERY relaxing.

Beds were very comfortable, room clean. Woke up refreshed and ready for a new day. Very friendly owners and very understanding. Very quiet setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We recommend this place very highly.

Love staying at the Woodberry Inn. Close to our favorite town, Floyd. Close to wineries. The setting is so quiet and peaceful. We always stay in a room facing the pond so we can enjoy its solitude in the evening. We wouldn't stay anywhere else when in the area.

This gem is located right off the gorgeous Blue Ridge Parkway slightly north of Meadows of Dan and the famous Mabry Mill. The proprietors are wonderfully representative of true southern hospitality. Have breakfast out on the deck while enjoying the view of the mountain pond behind the main buildings. Woodberry Inn is also well equipped to handle visitors on motorcycles,...

This was my second stay at the Woodberry Inn and the experience was great. Reserved on-line so checkin/out was a snap. Room was well-appointed and beds were comfortable. Very quiet & peaceful location but right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed the free continental breakfast overlooking the large pond while hummingbirds buzzed nearby at a...

If you want somewhere to stop on your drive without deviating too far from the route then this motel is well worth considering. It's very quiet and peaceful almost in the middle of nowhere. The one downside is that finding somewhere to eat in the evening. The choice is limited and everything seems to shut at 20.00 hours. At least...

This place was a great find. Was on my motorcycle almost 12 hours and needed a place to stay near Mabry Mill. This fit the ticket. Not only was it a nice clean room but the restaurant was excellent. Karaoke was fun, wish I was brave enough to sing. Several people did sing and it was a hoot. The continental...

My wife and I were driving the Blue Ridge Parkway with our dog in late April. We started at mile 0 and finished in the great smokey mountains. We picked Woodberry Inn as our first night stop en route. The hotel is very well located, just a few hundred yards off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our room (the pet friendly...

My husband and I stayed here and we had an outstanding experience! The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and had an awesome view of a small lake that surrounds the buildings. We also had fridge, microwave and coffee maker in our room. The rates were reasonable and very competitive to area Inns. We look...
