The breakfast was nice and the room was nice. The shower handle was loose and hard to use with pieces missing. The bath fan sounded like a motorcycle and didn't seem to draw much air. For the cost, the maintenance should be better.

Red Fox Inn is a charming historic inn steeped in the hunt tradition of Middleburg. We had a LOVELY stay in the charming house behind the inn. Two dinners and two breakfasts were all excellent! The breakfasts were included in the stay, and there was a large variety of delicious options from which to select. Good coffee, fresh orange juice...

It may not be evident to the casual daytripper or stroller, but from Red Fox, you can walk to the Equestrian Center at Salamander Resort & Spa and ride horses in their gorgeous luxury stables. Just walk down the main street and make a right after Safeway. Continue walking until you hit pastures and see the horses. It takes about...

This is a precious little town and I feel The Red Fox Inn & Tavern is the shining jewel. Dating back to early 1700's the Inn and Tavern takes you back in time. Our room was of the period with nice linens, bottles water, cookies and a quick delivery of ice. Loved this place. So nice to get away from...

This was a quick get-a-way.... It started with a near by tour to a winery. We decided to eat dinner at the Inn and it was a fantastic dinner. Our room was larger than expected for a country inn, and beautifully decorated. A wonderful get a way!

We recently had Sunday brunch here when visiting friends in Washington DC. It is very reminiscent of a traditional English pub. There is a great range of beer available and an excellent menu. Not to be missed if you are in the area.
