We 3 friends stayed in 1 room of Hotel Hermitage for 2 nights in October 2017. We found this property to be quite nice, very quiet place, short distance away from highway which saved us from unnecessary traffic noise and dust. The room was of...More
Very friendly helpful staff at the reception. Rooms are big and cozy. If there are not many people Wi-Fi is working well. Just the price seemed too high for me. There is a rooftop where you have a nice view.
This is a nice, calm and budget hotel to stay. I visited the hotel with my family in the month of August of 2017. As per them this is a off-peak time with very less tourist. The staff is helpful and welcoming.

The hotel is very comfortable and well kept! The staff is helpful and always someone near by to assist if you need anything. It is very close to stores, restaurants and the main square is a short walk.

Hey, take a variety of clothing... out of respect women should try to cover their shoulders and ankles, so if you're wearing a vest it's good to warp a scarf around your shoulders and it's more appropriate to wear long skirt/ dress or loose Indian pants. You can buy beautiful scarf and the rest in Rishikesh. ;-) I would say its good to have few layers on as it's warm in the day time but the temperatures drop in the eve. I used to wear long skirts, covering my ankles, then have a warmed scarf or a cardigan to wrap myself in when it cold.
Comfy shoes, trainers etc, flip flops are good to have. Get some leggings too that can be worn with tunics. Hope this helps!
