This place feels like our second home. It's a bamboe complex with a lot of small bungalows. The first row of bungalows is on the beach. This is like Thailand (and Ko Chang) was30 years ago. Very authentic! This place used to be very difficult to get to, but now the road is fixed. It's still a pretty long ride,...

We decided to explore Koh Chang by scooter, and set off with the aim of reaching the furthest point from our hotel - in this case, all round the coast of Koh Chang down to Long Beach. The road was VERY long, and the last 3km was really rough. Large construction vehicles were working on the remote stretch of road...

This original resort was destroyed due to local own problem on Lonely beach Other Treehouse is on Koh Chang on the other parts of island at wild nature. There is amasing very old and valued for backpeckers. It is aproximately 40 km by motorbike from Lonely beach. Go there !!!

Treehouse is a paradise with a big P. The nature is amazing and the beach is stunningly beautiful and unspoilt. This is a peaceful and quiet place with great vibes I have stayed at Treehouse several times, last time in December 2015, I love it there but it needs to be said, this place is not for all people. It's...

We took a long scooter ride down to Long Beach.. It's on the side of Ko Chang with very few beaches.. It makes an interesting ride with some piers, temples, and risky roads on route. The Treehouse itself is now defunct, unmaintained, and overgrown.. Felt like Urban Exploration in Thailand! Actually, it was quite creepy, and spooky, as the place...

We only visited the place for lunch and just to check out Long Beach. Its about 1.30 hr drive from the west side of the island (We started out at Sing Thong Supermarket in Klong Prao). I must warn you that if you are an inexperience motorbike driver or this is your first time driving a bike. Please don't attempt...

This place has passed its heyday, and now is being recovered from the ruins of a previous establishment. Accommodations are very very basic. Trade your tables and chairs for floor cushions and an open-air common space. Trade a clean, cozy bed for the rustic wooden shacks on the beach. Trade the thumping music, ecstasy-riddled party scene for quiet sunsets on...

Many reviews on Treehouse Long Beach don't mention that the power is available only between 6:00 pm and 1:00 am, and any kind of "fire" is not allowed in the huts (lamps, mosquito coils, etc.). You will want to bring your own flash light (otherwise, they are available for purchase). None of the huts have a fan, so if there...

This place is far removed from the beaten path. It is simple, cheap (all huts 200-250 B), but somehow capture the essential Thai experience from 10-15 years ago. You will find kindred soul, if you are so inclined. I stay in this beach for 4-5 days. It was very relaxing visit. I was there in March 2009. The ocean is...
