Very Good hotel, with equally good staff. The best part of hotel is its fair pricing on excursions. They guide you correct and fair in all aspects. Its really huge and the inresort taxi is never late. The Breakfast is good. Very near to ferry service. Very nice pool and all facilities are reasonably priced. Clean Rooms with Good Bed....

We booked and prepaid Aiyapura Koh Chang for just a few nights. The hotel lacks maintenance in every possible way, especially the completely outdated rooms with damaged furniture, old loud airco which keeps you awake at night. Breakfast buffet covered in insects, overprices restaurant. Way overprized for what you get, charge forca luxury hotel but get budget. Nothing possetive to...

A wonderful staff that will help you with anything. Rooms a bit dated need maintenance but the serenity makes up for it. We stayed in the villa with a pool well worth it. Breakfast was great every day. Shuttles to white sands beach twice a day. Would go back because of the staff.

Hi everyone

We had booked a nice hotel in the heart of a White Sand beach with anticipation for a relaxing tropical vacation, but after three days we was tired since we came to Thailand. We decided to change hotel and accidentally stumbled upon Aiyapura resort turned out that the hotel is located in one of the most beautiful lagoons...

I recently stayed at the Aiyapura while on a short business trip to the Island of Koh Chang. Admittedly it is an older property and the furniture is old wooden Thai style but I found the room to be very comfortable. I had a great night sleep and the bathroom and toilet were clean. I didn't have breakfast as I...

We had a lovely few days in this quiet corner of Koh Chang in between Christmas and New Year. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is set in grounds and bikes are provided to cycle round. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. It clearly is an older resort and some areas do need refurbishment.,...

Wonderful, seqluded resort close to the Pier where the ferrys arrives. There are no other facilites in the area than what the resort offers. They offer everything you need, however when it's too quiet or you feel like eating something else - White Sand Beach is just a 300 baht taxi ride away (the ride itself is like a rollercoaster...

The hotel is really beautiful and the garden and pool area is very quiet and peacefull, staff is nice and friendly, but it is not easy to communicate with them, most don't speak English. The rooms are great! The restaurant is just terrible and super overpriced... I would not recommend anybody to eat there. But if you eat other places...

My husband and I were on our honeymoon in Thailand and originally planned to be in Koh Samui for our few days on the beach. We arrived in Koh Samui to torrential rain and flooding, many flights were cancelled. We scrambled to find somewhere to go with beaches and sun, many of the places our friends had been (Krabi, Phuket,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are Pet Friendly Resort- Situated in the Gulf of Thailand is a tropical island paradise, affectionately called Koh Chang or in English, Elephant Island. Koh Chang is the second largest island (429 square kilometres) in Thailand after Phuket. Despite its size Koh Chang is quite undeveloped. It is a picturesque island of virgin rainforest, untracked jungles, high mountains, spectacular coastlines, fine white sandy beaches, clear blue sea, colourful corals, breathtaking waterfalls and an abundance of marine life. Aiyapura Resort & Spa Koh Chang is an independent hotel located on a forty acre beach-front property in Klong Son Bay. Beautiful Thai style villas and suites are surrounded by green tropical gardens with ocean views, set around a large 30 metre leaf shaped swimming pool. We offer the perfect natural environment for rest and relaxation, and a well-located base to explore all the activities Koh Chang has to offer. Koh Chang can be reached from Bangkok by direct flight in only 45 minutes, or in 5 hours by car or the hotel van service.Only 5 minutes from the ferry pier (many high end resorts are up to 1 hour from the pier) and White Sand Beach is easily accessible with the hotel shuttle bus. ... more   less
