We came here on a whim, Miss Margrit's being one of the few open and running hotels in Granada in the COVID times. Needless to say - we loved it! If life might ever be fortunate enough to bring us back, we'll stay there again. There is a pool AND a relaxing area away from the pool. The breakfast is amazing and huge. The common outdoor kitchen makes it homely, giving the opportunity to mix your own cocktails and snacks. The room is big, clean and air-conditioned, what else would you need? Oh, there is a surprise garden in the bathroom. The water from the shower went from super hot to cold - there was no inbetween. So if you are staying with children, that might need some parental help (since there are only a few hotels anyway which have normal temperature water in the whole of Nicaragua). We were almost alone in the hotel, making our experience perfect. We ordered a few excursions from the hotel also. We took kayaking with Vladimir which is a MUST! Ask the hotel staff. We also took the Mombacho tour from the hotel, but honestly - not worth the money. Rather take a taxi to the natural reserve and hike up from there by yourself. It is central and quiet, giving you the perfect base to plan your day-trips from Granada elsewhere. We stayed in the "Delux room with a balcony".

Miss Magrits is an elegant and quintessential colonial, yet modern, experience in the heart of Granada. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable with wonderful views, nice towels and linens. The common areas are relaxing and tranquil imbued with local architectural charm. Fantastic restaurants, bars, shops, museums and the lake are all within walking distance. The management and staff are hospitable and the traditional breakfasts including coffee with fresh fruit juices, fruits and eggs are a great start the day. We stay regularly on our visits to Granada and look forward to our stay every time.

If you are looking for a great place to stay in Granada, Miss Margrit's comes highly recommended. It is a beautiful hotel that is very centrally located within the city and walking distance to many restaurants, bars, cafes, markets and tourist attractions. The hotel itself is stunning and provides a very tranquil atmosphere; whether you are looking to socialize or just relax and read a book, it caters to all. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. On top of all this, staff are very friendly and helpful whatever your needs, they make you feel right at home. Have had many friends and family stay here and all have thoroughly enjoyed their experiences.
