We booked the family room here, which was in fact a suite of four rooms - kitchen/diner, bathroom, bedroom and lounge. There was a little patio off the kitchen where we ate most of our meals. The place was clean, attractively furnished and the beds were comfortable. Claudia, the owner, and her staff, were all friendly and approachable. It was...

Stayed with a group of teenagers at Casa Roja for three nights. We were openly received and got to experience the warmth and hospitality of Claudia and her family. The dorm accomodations for the teens were perfect. The food was tasty and the conversation in both Spanish and English engaging. One of my favorite times was going with Claudia early...

My time at Casa Roja was fantastic. The family made me feel at home and welcomed me like I was part of the family. The house was clean and well looked after. It also offered a prime location that was just blocks from Parque Central. I would highly recommend this place to all!

I have stayed at this house twice and each time it was great experience. First off, the city of Granada is one of the best kept secrets in North America. This house is owned by a local family that operates a Spanish school located about 2 blocks from the house. Most of the people that stay here are international students...

As I was following Spanish classes in Nicaragua, I could stay in the guest room of Claudia and her family. Because she can cook the best Nicaraguan meals and has a very caring personality, and speaks english fluently too, I cannot imagine a better guest family. Thank you so much for the time staying there! Sven

The Casa Roja Guest house is ideally located in Granada, 3 or 4 blocks from the central park towards the lake. The guesthouse represents excellent value for money in this beautiful town where there is so much to see and do. It proved to be a great base for improving my Spanish. Recommended.
