The place wasn't always really clean neither, but I'm not obsessed with this so it was OK. What really made this a terrible experience is the following: after a few days there, they told me and the 2 other people that I had to leave the next day cause a big group was coming and had booked the full hostel......

We stayed here for one night, because all other places were booked out. We had a private double room with a fan. The double room was ok although not that cheap considering the prices for hostels in Granada. The room was very hot and the fan not enough to cool it down a bit. We did not like it that...

Pros: Great location (Iglesia de la Merced is out your front door), cheap ($4 for dorm), nice and relatively new matresses,and there were artists in the courtyard, which was cool. Cons: Bathrooms are pretty gross. They are extremely poorly ventilated (always smelled terrible) and in need of repair (broken toilet handle). Most of the room in the shower is taken...
