We spent two nights at this hotel. Upon arrival they carried our "heavy" bags up a flight of stairs to a really nice room with a canopy bed. The pool is the centerpiece of the courtyard with beautiful vegetation surrounding. The staff was super friendly and gave us directions to everywhere and helped us reserve our ferry to Omotepe Island....

I have stayed at Hotel Colonial twice now, and I have loved it both times. The hotel is located conveniently near the central, great shops, and great restaurants. You can also take a walk to the lake and enjoy the beauty. I was very pleased with the comfort and help at the hotel. Granada is one of my favorite cities...

We came rolling into Granada on a rainy day after being picked up in Managua by a Julian...a driver sent by Colonial Hotel. Hands down, the best driver we've ever had anywhere in the world. In fact, everyone we encountered at this quaint hotel was friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed - ours even had a jacuzzi tub....

I stayed with four other friends at Hotel Colonial in January 2014. It has a perfect central location enabling us to walk everywhere. We had a situation at the end of the trip come up and the Swiss owners were very accommodating and understanding of the situation. They were friendly and extremely personable. The staff and manager of this hotel were extremely wonderful and helpful and made you feel very welcomed. The hotel was nice and clean and had a wonderful pool. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

This is a quaint, beautiful hotel tucked in a busy neighborhood. The pool was refreshing, very clean, and the atmosphere beautiful. The pool bar and servers were very nice. This air-conditioned hotel is super clean, beautifully decorated with all the modern comforts we needed. The hotel got nice old world charm and a lot of character. it is beautiful decorated. The room was very nice and comfortable. Wonderful staff and great service. The location is great. close to the central park and the main touristic street. Really enjoyed my stay there.
